The riverside view from my 7th floor room at the La Crosse Radisson was beautiful - as you can see from the pictures. I found it quite peaceful to watch the many pleasure craft, barges and excursion boats on the Mississippi and was additionally treated to a striking sunset during my stay. Riverside Park is adjacent to the hotel and is an inviting (and popular) place for a leisurely stroll and a closer view of the activity on the river.
I stayed on a Saturday evening on which the hotel was hosting a wedding reception. The pleasant vibe from the guests and visitors there for the celebration on a beautiful summer evening added to the hotel's atmosphere whenever I came or went. Downtown La Crosse is a block or two east of the Radisson so is an easy stroll. There are numerous restaurants and pubs downtown so the only problem is choosing one.
The staff I dealt with was efficient and polite. My room was up-to-date, well-appointed, very clean and comfortable. The 7th floor has business class rooms and features a small lounge that offers cookies & milk, continental breakfast, or happy hour drinks at regular times during the day. My comings and goings didn't overlap with these, however.
I would have easily given the La Crosse Radisson 5-stars except there were fairly loud intermittent sounds from the plumbing/ventilation throughout the night that would occasionally wake me up. Not sure what that was as the rooms seemed fairly well sound-insulated from each other. Too bad, as everything else I experienced there was quite nice.

For our wedding it was important that we had great food. We didn't want our guests to make comments that it was "just okay." Pogy's really knocked it out of the park. We were not an easy couple as I (the bride) have a nut allergy and we had several other special requests on menu items, but both the food and the service was fantastic. Kaley and her team really went above and beyond to make sure our day was great. We will definitely be using Pogy's for any catering events we host in the future. Thank you to everyone who helped on our special day!

Excellent service! Ron was very helpful when we were not able to operate the machines. User error total us not being able to figure it out. Delicious wine! Allowed us to try things I would have never ordered at a restaurant. On my previous visit I had no idea they were doing a cheese pairing. That was amazing. I joined the text club so I can be notified of when the next one is. I really enjoy this place!

Any dish but also anything southern cuisine. Fried Chicken, Collard Greens w/ Smoked Turkey, Red Beans and Rice, Baked Mac n Cheese, Buttermilk Corn-Bread Muffins ect.
