I was in town visiting my parents and wanted to go out to celebrate my brother's birthday with a nice cocktail. Unfortunately, after growing up in Elmira some time ago, I didn't think it was possible to find a nice, relaxed place to grab a good cosmo. I asked a few friends and was recommended to try this place out and I'm glad I did. Beyond their full-stocked bar with traditional favorites, they also serve from local distilleries and breweries. The owners are the bartenders and they are as friendly as can be. The prices may be about $1 more than you'd expect in Elmira, but they are tasty and quite potent. It's definitely worth the trip to check this place out on Lake Road.

Rooms totally remodeled and redone. Very nice!! No longer the old down-and-out style as mentioned in 2008 review. The staff has always been great and now the rooms are too! Breakfast credit of $10 for order off the menu is also a nice change from typical hotel free breakfasts. I will definitely stay here whenever I am in the area.
