Everyone has that one memorable meal that every time you think about it, or talk about it, you can taste it.  Often, it's a meal you know you will never have again, and, although you have had other meals just like it, it will never be the same as that ONE meal.  When you talk about it, you make your audience want it too (rightfully).  Well, it seems I am veering away from singling out one meal as being the sole trophy holder of my taste buds, and, leaning towards working on building a small list (if you will), because, Cricket Café has introduced me to the most delicious turkey sandwich I ever had in my life.  I know, I know, it's a TURKEY sandwich, you got sandwich meat, bread, mayo, BOOM, lunch is served.  Believe me you, I wrapped my head around this too, I even tried recreating it (came close) but, you just can't replicate perfection.  Little did I know that when my company ordered lunch for a meeting that one sunny day in June, my lunch game would be changed forever.  In fact, ALL of the sandwiches we had were such a hit in that small meeting of 8 that, a few weeks later, we ordered around 100+ lunchboxes (sandwich, chips, cookie) for our annual Hackathon attendees.  Then, the unthinkable happened, I found them on GRUBHUB. Folks, looking for your favorite food spots on GrubHub is no different than food shopping when hungry or browsing Amazon when you can't sleep, it's good in theory BUT, in the end, you will have post-indulgence regret (which, we all know isn't really regret).  Beautiful regret, on a full, satisfied tummy.  I am not saying we have, I am not saying we haven't placed at least one order per week at Cricket Café since .. or a breakfast order (today).  Don't judge. Cricket Cafes turkey sandwich to me, is what the moist-maker is to Ross (google it).  I have also added a handful of colleagues to my turkey sandwich-loving circle.  If you love food, and, supporting small-local businesses, check out Cricket Café.  You will not be disappointed.  PS: If anyone is curious of my #1 most memorable meal, it is a slice of cheese pizza from Bianchi's on Revere Beach.

Wow! What an amazing spot! My first time there today 9/4. The food was amazing, and what a lovely space. The dining area is roomy, sparkling clean, brightly lit with natural light. Also was served with efficiency and a smile. Customer service AAA+.

I come here often due to convenience (steps from the porter t stop) and usually I'd give it 3 or 4 stars. The chicken tastes dry, the ingredients never blew me away, but WOW. I ordered the al pastor speciality tacos last night and they were fantastic. Succulent, spicy beef, drizzles of guacamole and salsa, and a sprinkle of cilantro and onion, all on top of hot corn tortillas.  I got 2 for just $7! I'm 100% coming back for these.

Working right around the corner from this new restaurant is so dangerous! As soon as they opened, my co-workers and I all ordered lunch and brought it back to work. Ohhh my goodness, everything was delicious and so fresh! We all loved everything we ordered and can’t wait to try it again. I’m excited to go on the weekend to try out their yummy brunch! And the owners are THE sweetest! Five stars for Little Pecan Bistro! ❤️

I am not even going to say anything about Kabobs - Armenians know how to make proper Kabobs. But their Pizzas - UNBELIEVABLE! Some of the tastiest pizzas I ever tried. Unexpected... Prosperity to you guys!!!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Chris and Better Life Foods. Chris sat with us and our two children - whose event it was - and listened to what they wanted (a meatball bar - with beef, lamb and chicken meatballs -each unique) and worked with us on presenting a beautiful event. From the food (which every guest loved) to helping us figure out how to set the room up, the day went with out a hitch. His staff was equally great. The flow of the day was perfect. The food was amazing.

This place is amazing! Everything we've ordered has been delicious. The kitchen is open and you can see the flambe action. Service is fantastic and everyone is super nice. Drinks are great and desserts are to die for! We come all the time and it's always spectacular.

This is a great food truck!!  Love the tuna salad (has yummy, spicy red stuff on it), the turkey burger is awesome, and the grilled cheese with braised beef is a decadent, to die for treat!!  Haven't tried the donuts, but my friend loves them.  Don't be afraid of the "Tunisian flair"......it makes everything amped up delicious.  Price is right too!!

We had dinner for two the second day La Voile (The Sail) was open.  It's excellent - a second location for the Newbury St. Boston La Voile.  We had a lovely rich vegetable soup; blanquette de veau; seared cod over a very nice brown rice & tomato risotto, and a truly superb creme brulee.  Those dishes along with two glasses of a crisp Sancerre were $109 including tip.  The atmosphere is high end French bistro, white table cloths and nice china.  It was a bit louder than two old folks like us would like, but otherwise the ambiance was very good.  The staff was clearly anxious to please and when we arrived we were asked to give them our comments at the end of the meal.   Dessert (the creme brulee) was very delayed in coming out of the kitchen; the maitre d' made a point of coming over to apologize and we were surprised with complimentary glasses of champagne when the came.   This place is going to be popular, especially on weekends; make reservations.  Open for lunch & dinner.
