Witt IT Consulting - Web and SEO Experts

I hired Larry and he did what he could for me given my limited bandwidth to provide contents (I was a solo practitioner just starting my own practice when I hired him). Following is my review on his web building skills as well as my interaction with him toward the end:

Communication - 4
Rsponsiveness - 5
SEO - I cannot comment, as it didn’t generate much biz, but it could be my fault. Artistic taste - 3.5

I was having health issues for months and Larry continued charging me $500 per month for months as I didn’t feel it would be right to terminate given he has a family to support (he didn’t have to do any work during this period). From contract point of view was perfectly legal. When the contract was up, I did not renew.

A few months later, I finally recovered from my health issues and would like to restart again but with a much limited scope of work as my biz strategy has changed. I asked Larry to give me a quote to put my website back online and to make changes to address and bio that he put up in all other website. I also asked him to give some considerations to the fact that I paid him for months that he didn’t have to spend any time on my website.

As I am writing this review, I am still in disbelief. I am not surprised at getting rejected that he does not wish to continue the relationship. This is business. What I am surprised at is Larry didn’t even do the courtesy of making a phone call. It was communicated to me a cold email with words like “ I have decided that it would be in my best interest to move on and not take you as a client again. This decision is final and not for negotiation. ”

We all have life situations. Maybe Larry is having financial concerns, and my project is not profitable enough. Maybe he would like to spend more time with family. Maybe he felt offended when I asked him to consider the past transaction. I really don’t know.

Anyway, I wish Larry the best and wish great success for all of his present and future clients. And I want to thank Larry for teaching me a priceless lesson for customer service - clients may not remember the work you did, but clients will always remember how you made them feel. I will strive for better customer service in my legal practice and I hope all of Larry’s other clients never have to feel what I am feeling now. More...

Larry is a pro with website and IT. I, however, am not. He did a superb job with creating our website, then became foul, unresponsive and cursed when questions were asked. Strong temper and unprofessionalism proved stronger than anything. More...

I bent over backwards for this client to only be stiffed the final payment. I still worked unpaid to turn over everthing to her. Not suprisingly her startup failed shortly there after. Steer clear of this client.
