My mindset when I joined was it’s only a few months so what’s there to lose. I was tired of being on a low calorie restrictive diet and still being confused about macros. I had recently dropped some weight but feared it was not fat but instead muscle as that had happened in the past.
Parker helped me figure out that the low calorie diets were slowing my metabolism, so we started to fix my metabolism. Before finding Parker on Instagram, I had gone through menopause and had started struggling to stay in shape and struggling with my fasting blood sugar rising, putting me into the pre-diabetic category.
I had been working on losing 24 pounds and trying to get back into shape. I had lost around 12 pounds and was stuck in plateau mode and not seeing any change at all in my body despite the loss of weight. I was frustrated. I was angry at my body. When I looked at the trainers at my gym who were my age, they seemed to be having the same struggle. I thought that it was hopeless if they could not stay in shape. I didn’t even want to look at myself.
With Parker’s help, I was able to slim down and lose another 12 pounds and break past the plateau! For me, it was super important to be able to have real conversations about how I was doing, how I felt, and what was difficult. While working with Parker, I suffered some physical set-backs, but he was right there with ideas about what we could do and how we could still be on track.
The biggest things that I am taking away from this program are:

Parker reached out to me, which miraculously was when I was debating whether to join a fitness program. I kept seeing results that people had everywhere, and I wanted those results.
Historically, I relied on what I knew about working out, I would search online for what to do to get those targeted results. But since my weight had been fluctuating throughout my entire life, and it never worked long term, I finally realized that if I wanted different results, then I needed a different brain to help me achieve those results.
Before I started, I weighed between 142-146lbs, my waist size was 30 in, and hips were almost 38 in. My tops were usually around a Medium, but bottoms were always a Large, or size 8-10. I hated being pear shaped, I wanted a more proportional figure.
NOW, I wear between a Small or XSmall in BOTH tops and bottoms. I can easily fit into a size 4 in pants/shorts. ( I have never worn a Small in bottoms before, let alone a size 4!) My waist size is at 26.5, hips are at 34, and I weigh around 133-135. I can see in photos that I am WAY more toned all over, I feel confident wearing crop tops, and shorts. My self image is VERY healthy. Just recently, while searching for a new professional skirt, I ended up fitting into a size ZERO! What a HUGE difference from a size 8-10!

I truly enjoyed this journey with Parker. He was amazing and very informative. I lost 4 inches off my waist which was huge for me because I had been stuck for so long!
I felt toned and people even noticed the definition in my arms and stomach. I didn’t feel so “bloated”. My relationship with food changed drastically and I now know that eating more nutritional dense food is good for you and that I don’t have to starve myself to feel and look good! I started off having high cholesterol as well and by the end of the 12 weeks I’ve gotten my cholesterol within normal range. That was a win in itself.

How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
It's important for overall health & well-being, for sure. The fiber, nutrients, and gut health benefits we receive from healthy food are phenomenal! However, 2 things:
1. It's equally as important to find a balance with fun foods, in moderation, eacch day. If not, it's quite easy to run ourselves into the ground if we are constantly avoiding the foods we enjoy. It's beneficial to find a sustainable balance with both to get the benefits of healthy eating while learning how to make this a lifestyle > a diet!
2. Just eating healthy for fat loss, isn't the best approach. There's much more that goes into consistently losing weight and keeping it off than just eating healthy. This is one of my favorite things to help our clients with, they often have an ah-ha moment, figuring out how to lose more weight, while also enjoying foods they love...win-win!
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Every path we take with each client is different! We really prioritize taking a customization approach with each client, for their specific lifestyle and body. On top of that, everything we do is simple and overwhelming. You're busy, the last thing we want to do is add more overwhelm. This helps us make the changes feel simple and realistic, and start to create initial progress!
We look at factors within the whole body to maximize progress. Typically an average week would look like, having nutrition targets to aim for w/ tracking food in a simple manner, an appropriate amount of workouts each week focused around strength training + mobility, and certain healthy habits to maximize progress to help you feel & look your best!
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
It comes down to two things: consistency and making proper changes before progress stalls.
To be consistent, we have to create a custom plan that's simple for your busy lifestyle, suits your preferences, and is simple to keep up with. In addition, improving mindset and having a sustainable plan to enjoy life, food out, and fun, is important for long-term consistency and to make it feel like a lifestyle and a diet.
Making the right changes is my job! Our bodies adapt, so what we do, overtime, will stop working. So in order to see consistent results, we have to monitor progress and have a strategy to make the right changes ahead of the plateaus.
What do you love most about your job?
It would absolutely be the impact I get to have on my client's health and life. It is so rewarding watching our clients transform physically, mentally, and behaviorally and what that allows the client to do. More confidence, more energy to play with their kids and show up for their spouse, a better relationship with themselves knowing they accomplished one of their main goals. Hearing and watching how what we do impacts our clients' and their lives is forever fulfilling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me was going through 3+ years of restricting my foods, busting my tail working out, being so consistent, and constantly dieting....left only to see minimal results, and the progress i did see, was lost each weekend as I'd let loose. This took a toll on my confidence, and how I felt, and impacted lots of areas of my life.
Once I learned a better process and came through on the other side, not only my health change, but my life did! The confidence in feeling and seeing the changes I created changed how I felt, acted, and positively impacted every area of my life. I knew from the impact my journey had on myself, that it was my duty to help others do the same.

That's our jam! We've been online for 5 years and our clients notice they get 3x MORE support compared to in-person trainers. We chat with our clients, 1:1, through Voxer throughout the week. We have our own app used to easily lay out your nutrition, and workout calendar, and track progress. Each week we have check-ins and switch between voice memos and phone calls for each client.
The support is often our client's favorite aspect of the program bc it allows them to never feel lost or unsure along each week, and helps them create more momentum so that they can lose more weight, build more muscle, and get more toned!
