I've been an owner of 5 Villa Verde condo in Buffalo Grove for over 25 years. I'm a law and rule abiding citizen that never been behind my financial obligation. Recently my car needed a serious repair at a dealership. The dealership gave me a loaner. I parked it on our parking lot obeying all the rules of my condo association : Displaying a guest tag and parking under the light pole far away from a building making a security guy job easier. After a several days the loaner car was barnacled without any notice . I called Signal and they told me that I broke rules that I 've never heard of and I can pay $100 cash instead of $250 on card. It sounded for me like an extortion. I"ve checked Villa Verde Rules And Regulations to make sure I did not brake any rules. I DID NOT! I pay those guys as an owner via association fee to protect my cars on a parking lot but instead they trying to scam me out of my money! By the way they do NOTHING to protect the owners cars . During last year at LEAST 4 cars were burglarized on only one parking lot out of six including my wife's car . When I called to the owner He was rude and disrespectful . Even there was some minor mistakes were made would it be nice of You to give a warning on a windshield saying something like we used to have here at Villa Verde for years:"You parked illegally. Please correct it until tomorrow". Instead: No, It's "I got You"! Here is my $300. You ve done this to several of my neighbors. You are NOT nice company ! You are not humane company!
