What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding lighting, composition, which lens to choose for various types of photos, and your camera settings of course! It's also important to have an artistic eye and an instinct for knowing what, when and how to capture meaningful moments as they spontaneously unfold so the resulting photographs are both beautiful and emotional.

What do you love most about your job?
I love capturing beautiful, meaningful memories, and then hearing how happy my clients are with their pictures. Also, it feels really special to me that (in the case of photographing weddings and other important life moments) the images I take are not just important for my clients in the moment, but they will be a part of their entire lives and legacy that they pass down to their children and grandchildren.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A love of art, photography, and telling real life stories visually.

For commercial product images the photography can be done remotely if products are shipped to me. Also, I travel to the location for many weddings/events, so you don't have to be local.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
When Covid-19 is prevalent in the area where I'm working, or if my clients are concerned about it, I make it a point to wear an N-95 mask in order to keep my clients and their guests safe, and give them peace of mind, when I'm with them or at their event.

Portrait Photography

Headshot $650: Natural, out-of-focus background. Digital download of ALL images at both high and web resolution. Choose four images to be retouched.--------
Mini Family Portrait Session $425: up to 30 minutes; Includes web gallery of all images for viewing, sharing, and choosing favorites. Digital download of your images at high resolution so you can print yourself. Professional retouched custom prints and/or wall art may be ordered if desired.--------
Basic Portrait Session $650: A variety of shots and backgrounds in one location, up to one hour. One person, a couple, or a family. This portrait session could also work for a smaller maternity session. Includes web gallery of all images for viewing, sharing, and choosing favorites. Choose two images to be retouched. Digital download of all high resolution images so you can print yourself. Professional retouched custom prints and/or wall art may be ordered if desired.--------
Luxury portrait session $850: A variety of shots and backgrounds up to two hours. Outfit changes are OK. Ideal for a more elaborate engagement session, full maternity session, photo session for modeling/actor comp cards, or teen/senior photo session. Includes web gallery of all images for viewing, sharing, and choosing favorites. Choose two images to be retouched. Digital download of all high resolution images so you can print yourself. Professional retouched custom prints and/or wall art may be ordered if desired.
Commercial Product Photography
Professional product shots on solid background or in a natural setting with a soft out-of-focus background. Typically each product gets 2-3 shots of various angles. Each image is retouched for a high-end professional-looking finish.
Fee: $35 per item -includes one angle and retouching (+$10 per additional angle). $650 minimum.
Residential Photography
Pricing is based on house size and/or desired number of shots. (ie: up to 2,000 square feet and approximately 20 shots plus front and back elevation- $475) Add $100 per additional 1000 feet. Final images are retouched and cropped. Delivery by digital download.

Small Event/ Party Photography
Starting at $650
Includes shots of decor, overall scene, some posed group shots if you would like, with the majority of my time typically spent working in the background, quietly capturing candid shots of individuals and people interacting. I use long lenses whenever possible so, for the candid/photojournalistic shots, I can blend into the background as much as possible, so people can forget about me and the fact that someone is taking pictures. I focus on capturing real moments, expressions, smiles and laughter, with the end result being beautiful images that convey the joy of your event, so when you look back you can feel the memories. From years of shooting showers, cocktail parties, and receptions as a wedding photographer I've perfected the art of photographing events in this way. This type of photography is perfect for any type of event or party where you want great pictures of the guests as well as photos that help convey the spirit of your event. Included: private web gallery for viewing, sharing, and choosing favorites. You get all your images at high resolution so you can print yourself. Professional retouched custom prints are also available by ordering through me if desired.
Engagement Session / Proposal
Engagement Session $650: A variety of shots and backgrounds. Outfit changes are OK. Includes private web gallery of all your images for viewing, sharing and choosing favorites. Digital download of all high resolution images so you can print yourself. Professional retouched custom prints and/or wall art may be ordered if desired.----This session is also perfect for a surprise proposal. After you propose we will get some great shots of the two of you to use for your engagement announcement, save-the-dates, and, of course, for framing.
Corporate Headshot Events
Top-Quality Professional Headshots for your next corporate event. $5450 covers up to 9 hours on-site and headshots for up to 100 individuals. Includes approximately 6 shots per individual and retouching of one shot per individual.
