We hired Phillip Greek to DJ my niece Camryn’s graduation party in Hilo, and he was absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish, he brought great energy, kept the crowd engaged, and played the perfect mix of music for all ages.
His sound system was crystal clear and powerful—everyone could feel the music! The light show he brought was equally impressive and transformed the space into a fun and vibrant celebration.

Phil was a hoot to work with, very personable and friendly and he puts his personal touch on the DJ side of things by playing his instruments & singing!
He also encouraged my husband and I to do a duet during our wedding reception, and it was SOOO perfect. We sang "In Spite of Ourselves" by John Prine and Iris DeMent, the guests were super surprised and enjoyed every second! This inspired others to also do some sign-a-longs/karaoke ......... really made it memorable and so fun!!
On top of being an awesome DJ - he also took video of our entire reception and sent us clips of some of the special moments. We didn't even ask for that, but he did it - cuz he's that awesome :)

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I like to come prepared by collaborating on a playlist with the host and their friends. Each party is different and I'll usually throw out a few songs and ask for requests. My computer is set-up to take me where I feel the need to go. Mixing in a mid-tempo or even a slow song is good especially for an all-ages group.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style is geared more toward family events with a nice variety of music for all ages. I am very experienced with sound gear and lights. People find me friendly and amiable and easy to relate to. I am an experienced professional.
What do you love most about your job?
Music has always been very special to me and I love to share that joy and bring the fun!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am very self-motivated and love being my own boss. Plus I'm just good at this! lol
Why should our clients choose you?
I've never had a dissatisfied client in more than 30 years in the music business. I always come prepared with extra gear and cords and keep the music present constantly.

I starting to teach ukulele, tenor guitar, piano and voice online. Otherwise the business end of a live performance can be accomplished remotely and online quite efficiently.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I follow the recommendations - mostly I took the year off study and now that we're getting back into gatherings I will work with clients in their settings. A DJ and performer has a stage and can limit contact with others as needed.
