I tried to leave a review of this company in the past but I'm not seeing it? I don't leave a lot of reviews, as I am older and don't go out too much but I have seen O'Linn around at shopping centers and had a few experiences with their officers. One officer, named Jose helped me get to my car when I was coming out of the store and there was a transient that was acting a little aggressive. I would not recommend this company by any means . had a security officer try to ban me from public property after he invaded my personal space and car. called and reported I'm to management and nothing was done, on top of that the CEO KIM was such a coward and referred me to their lawyer instead of just fixing the problem. I attended the McCormick Auto Auction during Modernism Week in Palm Springs. O'Linn was onsite to provide security. They were very helpful keeping autos and attendees in the proper areas. They were present without being pushy as we were bidding and closely viewing autos. I see these guards at several locations around palm springs and they are always professional and friendly. Recently I had an encounter with a gentleman at a shopping center and you could tell that he cared about his job. It was refreshing to see.

I live in a gated community and O'Linn provides front gate security as well as after hours drive through security. The guards are always prompt, well mannered, & helpful. Today, we had an emergency situation and the guard was quick to act on behalf of out of town homeowners. Thanks! More...

If you're a business or individual in need of serious security, there is no way these positive reviews can serve as any sort of guide. No need to sugar coat things - these are gate guards and parking lot attendants at best. If the guards can't run for at least a half-mile, or take a bad guy to the ground and restrain them - what good are they for security? Of course, if you just need some "guards" to check ID's and wave cars in - by all means - hire this company. If you need actually capable guards, who can handle business and protect your clients, you, and your property, you probably should look elsewhere. The way this company presented itself made us think the entire team were grizzled military veterans who could handle anything. Sadly, that is just not the case. What they ostensibly have now are guards at "body pay." Seemingly there just to fill a void for minimal compensation. The resulting caliber of security is painfully obvious. Very thorough vehicle patrol tours with comprehensive tour software that records GPS locations time stamp, photos, video etc. In many cases Vehicle patrol is a better option than on site security when you factor in the cost savings for the client.
