DJ Charles did a great job DJing at our 300-person reception. I especially appreciated his availability from the first call leading up to the event. He worked with us on our choreography song and was willing to meet with the venue in person to square away details prior to. We also received automated email reminders about wedding planning leading up to the celebration, which I thought was a lovely touch to the services. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Preparation. The most important part of what i do is to learn the preferences of the client and their guests. This helps me prepare the right types of songs and immerse myself in those genres for weeks leading up to the event.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I am an open-format DJ that started on turntables and now on digital. I mix music like you may hear in the club - clean, precise, and fluid. I study ways of mixing music to create the vibe that is perfect for the moment.
What do you love most about your job?
Being a part of bringing joy and happiness to everyone at the event. Music is a magical way of raising the atmosphere at any event. And i love playing for different audiences and cultures.
What inspired you to start your own business?
DJing is fun and I enjoy it. I felt i could deliver a premium service for a budget-friendly price.
