It has been wonderful working out again! Make A Step Fitness has helped me overcome so much inertia. I was initially inspired by Chris's own weight loss journey and selected him to help me achieve my own weight loss goals. Working with Chris was really great . He was attentive to my particular needs and created exercises to target the problem areas. He tailors things to you and doesn't do some generic workout. I have worked with few personal trainers, but Chris is one of the best personal trainer I have ever seen. Due to Covid-19, all sessions are online, his work out will make you feel you came out of the gym after extensive workout. His positive attitude and energy will make you do more exercise. So, it's only been my second session, but I can already tell I will be sticking with our sessions for a long time! I felt really comfortable with Chris when we spoke on the phone before booking our sessions (which is what ultimately made my decision - if I'm comfortable with someone, that helps so much). What inspired you to start your own business?
I lost 130 pounds on my own and got a passion for fitness and I decided to get my personal training certification to help and motivate clients. I wanted to show them it can be done and they can do it with support and the right information.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are an accountability partner for our clients. They spend more time focusing on the workout rather than sitting in traffic. Also I can relate to the client because I am a weight loss success story myself and I know what it takes to go on the journey to become fit and healthy.
I have been trained and educated through the National Academy of Sports Medicine where I have received my certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Certified Nutrition Coach
