What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
To keep party-goers going until the venue kicks everyone out I play the music the guests want to hear, not the music I want to hear. At most events, I openly take requests in real-time. This ensures everyone hears the music they like.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
High energy, smooth MCing. When I am behind the microphone I provide/create interaction to motivate guests to a common goal, whether that goal is to have everyone on the dance floor or some other purpose. When it comes to the music, I am a beat-matcher, maintaining a constant BPM as I mix the music.
What do you love most about your job?
The first two things I love most about being a DJ is: hearing people go "Wow" when they enter the room because of the lighting I set up and making people dance.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started in pro audio when I was 14 years old. DJing is just an extension or wing of pro audio.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
No real changes have taken place in response to Covid-19 from the music and lighting perspective. Since I arrive early to setup (hours before the first guests) I limited contact with others during that time. Once the event starts I mask up. Additionally, I employ the use of a DJ facade to create a 6-foot work area. Almost every weekend since May 15, 2020, Latinobazaar Enterprises DJ service has been providinig DJ and Lighting service with no Covid-19 issues.
