Michelle and Cliff are training me and my Malinois, and I couldn’t be more grateful! After the very first session there was such a major difference in my dog’s behavior. It’s actually pretty easy when you have great trainers who give you the tools you need. They are both very professional and very informative. After each session I am always left with homework and a task sheet that is simple and easy to understand. Their rates are very affordable. I also love how we are using positive tools to train my dog. No scare tactics! I really appreciate having trainers who genuinely want to help me and my dogs have a better quality of life and it’s made such a difference in our home. Michelle is awesome! You can tell she loves what she does. My 3 dogs are always super excited to see her. I have 2 Bassets and they aren’t easy to train, but she had them trained in no time! She’s patient and takes the time she needs for each pets personality. She’s thorough and leaves you with the tools you need to continue practicing for the week. I heard about Happy Tails from a coworker right after I adopted a 2 month old deaf Queensland Heeler named Andy. I was completely overwhelmed and I didn’t know how to communicate with my new pup. One of the major problems we were having with Andy was that she wasn't potty trained, and we didn’t know where to begin when training a deaf puppy. I contacted Happy Tails and signed Andy up for the puppy potty training program, and after just 1 week with Michelle, she was entirely potty trained! I was in absolute shock when I got her back! We haven’t had any incidents since then, and I’m so happy we found someone as dedicated as Michelle. She gave me the tools I needed to communicate and connect positively with my sweet pup. What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the moment a dog catches on to what we are training and watch himor her become so confident. It’s amazing what training can do for a dog and it’s extremely rewarding seeing the owner and the dog bond over their accomplishments!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I previously worked for Petco and was unable to do everything my clients needed because so many of the dogs were too anxious or scared to work at petco. Being able to go into peoples homes helps the dogs feel more secure and makes it easier for us to transition their training to other places more smoothly.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will love your dog immediately and give them all my attention and give you all the best guidance you could ask for! I give longer class time frames to ensure you are confident in the training we go over and make sure you understand all training homework. I will be available for text and calls whenever you need me! I’m here for the dogs and more than anything I want them to be happy, to make that happen, I know that YOU need to be happy.

Puppy training class
Get a personalized lesson plan for the things you need your puppy to learn. Classes are held in your home so you and your puppy are comfortable and your puppy can learn in a happy safe environment.
Private classes
We come to your home and work with your dog on the specific behaviors you want improved upon or corrected.
Board and Train
Your dog stays with us for anywhere from a few days to a few months depending on your needs. We introduce commands and encourage the formation of good behaviors through positive reinforcement. The Happy Tails way.
Potty training program
Your dog stays with us for two weeks and learns to signal to you that they have to go potty outside. We provide an environment that is more condusive to success with constant observation and reward. All while instilling essential commands to ensure your puppy grows into a good, happy dog with manners and basic obedience.
Aggression and Reactivity Courses
Not all dogs are the same, and when it comes to aggression and reactivity they each have their own story and reasons for acting the way they do. We work with you to figure out why they are acting the way they are and then come up with a personalized lesson plan created to fit your dogs needs. A combination of private in home classes, private socials, and/or board and train stays to get you and your dog where you need to be.
