This was the most horrible experience! Ivan is extremely rude and condescending and has no idea how a dog should be treated. He wants your dog leash or crated 24/7. And he can’t go near other dogs or humans when he gets home!? Basically he was never trained at all. He will only respond to commands if you feed him treats! This was a huge waste of money. The specific behaviors I asked to be addressed we Basically ignored, and are worse now that he’s home! With some other bad behavior behaviors. I’ve Gotten Reggie Back to smiling, because he came home, crying and whining for days! Defecated in the house which he has never done. And I was told it was my fault! I saw him do it on the video they sent me in the facility! They do not take your dogs out to go to the bathroom. They let them go outside on their own with the door open? And the training consist of Using treats for your dog to follow basic commands. Most people already know how to do this. It is not worth $2500! My dog already knew this and I Told them that, they insisted he did not know any of it. Took my money, took my dog and didn’t address any of his bad behavior. Then when I called, they didn’t return my call for days! And when they finally got through to me, it was my fault because I was too anxious over my dog and maybe I should take him home! I was told the Boot Camp would be best for him so I let him stay against my better judgment! I am so sorry my dog went through whatever he went through there, he’s obviously traumatized and barks so much louder it seems like he was in the kennel forever Trying to get attention or be heard over the other dogs! He barks more now and whines more, and still pulls on his leash! He was never trained how to loose leash walk. They wanted to use a head harness to walk in after the two weeks. What was done in those two weeks? I couldn’t have done at home for free? He was Actually, worse when he got home! I did follow the program for one day, but it was torture For my dog, because he cried the whole time I had unleashed. They don’t think your dog should have freedom to play or even go outside a lot if there’s other jobs! How is this training? What do you love most about your job?
Although we may have multiple clients with the same breed of dog- each of my sessions with them are all different, and I never know what to expect. My approach, reinforcement, and training programs are always tailored for the individual dog I'm working with. I can then ensure we get the maximum benefit from whatever we're working towards while creating relationships based on trust and cooperation.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Everyone knows that a dog is mans best friend- and anyone adopting a new dog has felt the need to set them up for success. Especially with a puppy! Lol. Being a family owned and operated business we work towards that goal each day. To help dogs and their families succeed by giving them both the training and support they need to ensure that our our best friends are a well balanced and well socialized part of the family- ready to take on whatever comes their way.
Why should our clients choose you?
We've been in the dog training industry for 12 years now, so there's not much we haven't seen or had to handle lol. To make sure each dog hits the ground running after they return home from their board and trains we schedule 1:1 lessons in home to ensure a seamless transition from training back into "normal life." Our trainers create personalized training videos during your dogs program so you're able to refer back to them when doing homework with your dogs. When you succeed we succeed- so we strive to make every dog the best they can be. Plus what could be better than a personal video library made just for your dog!? For our private lessons, each lesson is crafted so that before your trainer leaves, you are empowered with the tools needed to meet the challenges of the next week.

Some programs can be done remotely, but because of the unique and individual nature of each dogs training needs not all programs can be done remotely. That being said- we do offer a few program options that are done remotely mainly our reactive dog programs- they can help get your dog the requisite skills needed to enroll into the training program best suited for them.
Boarding & Daycare
We and our partners at Free Range Doggy Daycare and Overnight Camp pride ourselves on providing personalized attention, ensuring each dog has their dedicated kennel space. This cozy haven is a retreat where your canine companion can unwind, surrounded by their favorite toys, providing the perfect setting to relax and feel at ease when they're not out exploring or socializing. Our boarding services are designed to cater to your convenience and your dog's needs.
You have the flexibility to opt for a straightforward pickup and drop-off service for your dog's stay. Or, if you're looking to enhance their experience add training, grooming or add on services, like walks or bedtime treats to their stay.

Board and Train (2-4wks)
Our Board & Trains are an accelerated training program that paves the way for lifelong behavioral excellence. Each program spans a period of 2 to 4 weeks, where your dog becomes a part of our training family, staying either at our daycare facility or with our trainers.
We provide regular report card updates and comprehensive training videos. These updates not only showcase the ongoing training program/progress your dog is making, but also guides you on how to reinforce and maintain these newfound behaviors.
As part of our Board & Train program, we offer two 90-minute handover lessons. These sessions which are designed to ensure seamless transfer back home, enables families to continue their dogs progress and, effectively manage emerging behaviors post-training.
Private In Home Lessons
Expect a holistic approach that not only hones your dog's skills but also nurtures a stronger, more harmonious relationship. We emphasize effective communication, reinforcing positive behaviors, and cultivating mutual respect.
Our flexible Coaching & Day Training Programs offer versatility, available individually or in convenient packages of 4, 8, or 12 sessions.
Each session is meticulously designed to elevate your training experience and fortify the lifelong connection with your cherished canine companion.

Group Classes
We offer Puppy K and Family Dog Group classes.
Our Puppy K is for puppies under 6 months of age who have not taken any formal classes before and meet once a week in Glastonbury, CT.
Our Family Dog I and Family Dog II group classes are for dogs older than 6 months who have either not taken any formal training in the case of Family Dog I.
If you have completed a Puppy K or Family Dog I class with us or, at another facility and are looking to keep moving forward our Family Dog II classes are just the thing for you!
