What do you love most about your job?
As an Architect and Professional Engineer I solve problems for my clients, produce designs and ideas to enhance the built environment, and direct projects to completion in cost effective ways. Working with different people and different types of projects is challenging and involves creative thinking to develop effective solutions. Of course, having a quality finished product is always the best part of my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was younger I worked as a Mason, a Carpenter, a Painter, and in Demolition. I realized that I could become an Architect and design and direct these projects. Douglas Tobin Architect + Professional Engineer was started to provide uncompromised quality service to Contractors, Owners, Project Managers, and Gov't Authorities doing the Architecture and Engineering work necessary to provide a quality service, satisfying project requirements and providing exceptional design.

Remote services are well within our capabilities. Our networked computer systems will allow comprehensive communications and presentations of our Architectural and Engineering designs, reports, presentations and submittals.
