I'm so grateful to have worked with Dana and Sarah on locating my birth family. They never gave up and worked great as a team to help me. What do you love most about your job?
I love that my job is creative, employs critical thinking, is not the same every day, always challenging, and I find it very satisfying to help clients with the information needed to support their case or problem.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It happened quickly. Days after our company got re-licensed to our current name, Discovery Detective Group, where I was added as a partner and a previous partner removed, we got a big client by referral, that needed to get started, yesterday. We were not set up yet. In one day, I got our fictitious business license needed for a bank account, opened a business bank account, and had the client's funds transferred the next day into the new account. This was way before there were so many payment options. If you did not have a business bank account, you were not in business. We have been going strong ever since, under the same management and control.

We can do many components of investigation by telephone and computer such as interviews, locates, and background investigations. However, the parts of investigation that require us to be in person like surveillance, io person interviews and undercover require us to be licensed in the state we physically work and advertise. We can investigate into matters for our client's locally, nationally and worldwide. If we need a portion of an investigation done in the field, other than AZ and CA we may use our network of trusted affiliates, or we may tell you to hire someone in that state or country.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
There is no need to meet a client in person. Save the drive time and still get the benefits of in-person Client-privileged meetings. Your choice, see each other virtual meeting on Adobe Connect or by telephone appointment. Updates are given by e-mail or by telephone.
