I'm no home repair expert, but I feel like it's really easy to overpay for plumbing and rooter services. They were available for a same day appointment and efficient -- in an out in 15 minutes for a clogged toilet. Definitely recommend!

I live in an apartment building that had a serious plumbing problem. The pipes underground had to be replaced due to a leak. We were told it would be 4 or 5 days, which turned into 2 weeks. The work done was sufficient; the crew was polite, but no one on site for most of the days spoke English, so it was very difficult to deal with problems. My electricity was turned off without ng notified and my refrigerator was off most of the day one day. And a few days later a fuse was blown so the exterior safety light and interior stairwell light were off and STILL ARE because I couldn't convey the problem to the crew. I've phoned twice to get this rectified and left messages, but no one has taken the time to return my call. Several times the water was turned off for hours on end and no one let us know when it was starting or ending. I'm not impressed. Luckily I don't have to pay for it! Becky An addendum to the review. Yellow curb parking in Daly City is strictly for loading and unloading for a maximum 20 minutes. This review isn't for any type of service. I'm disabled and I had a simple dental checkup I was trying to get to today but he decided to stay parked here texting or doing whatever on his phone for more than the allowed 20 minutes. Maybe it's my fault for not saying anything to him but regardless of me being disabled or not, it didn't seem to bother him that I had to park further away from the entrance to get in and out. I appreciated Discover's responsiveness. I called in the morning and they called back within an hour. I had an appointment for that afternoon. <br><br>The technician charged $150 to cut holes in the drywall to determine the source of the leak (they would not repair it). When it was found out that that drain was not leaking. He charged me another $125 to determine if the tiled wall was the source--I felt I didn't have a choice and agreed. When it was determined where the tile and tub meet needed recaulking--he would make an additional charge to caulk (and no warranty). No thanks. 2018: seems every year we have one or two issues related to plumbing. This year the kitchen disposal. Lucky for us the issue didn't happen on the weekend and we know it's time to call Discover plumbing(there was a name change for the company). <br><br>The guys came on time and were polite and professional as usual. Estimate was given before the work started and they provided options and recommendations to us. Work was done carefully and highly efficiently. It's very neat like the last time (I didn't even have to clean up afterwards). <br><br>2017: Having a broken toilet is never good, but I am very happy in choosing Celsos to help me out on this emergency.<br><br>They picked up phone calls quickly, and gave me an estimate over the phone after I explained the situation. To make sure they have the parts that were needed for the fix I also emailed before they came. They replied my email also pretty fast.<br><br>The two guys came on time, very professional with all the tools and the right parts. The fix was quick and they didn't leave a mess for me to clean afterwards. I called Celsos when having a water pressure problem in a shower in my mobile home. Â Either a receptionist or the plumber answered their phones promptly and I got an appointment right away. Â Ferrin and another plumber arrived on time and quickly diagnosed my problems--they also discovered a leak caused by a previous plumber who had worked on my shower a couple of days earlier. Â They left to get a part to cap off the leak and quickly returned, fixed the problem well for now although I will have to get repiped in the future. These guys are excellent-- I highly recommend them. Â We discovered a nasty leak under our kitchen sink, which meant no cleaning dishes or running the dishwasher or using the sink whatsoever, so we were desperate to find a plumber. Â On the Saturday of a three-day weekend, they were the only plumbers we could find to come out any day before the next Tuesday. Â He also told me that I needed a new garbage disposal (I had a leak that I wanted him to look at) and showed me how it was wobbly, leaky and done for. I live out in the avenues in the Sunset.  I had a sewer backup in the garage.  Not the first time. Every 3-4 years the tree roots from the tree out on the sidewalk in front of the house clog up the street drain and the water backs up into the house. I turned to yelp and found this company -- liked the reviews. <br><br>I called at 3:45 PM, got Ferrin (spelling?) on the line.  He said he'd have someone there by 5 PM and gave me a ball park figure of $175-$225 if all that was needed was what I said it was.  At 4:30 the doorbell rang and a young man (Alex) appeared with a truckload of equipment.  He got right to work, located the clog, cleared it, and  cleaned up after himself. I had called another repair service in SF first that could deal with our very old, steam radiator furnace. They were going to charge me a large base sum just to come out and take a look. (I'm writing this review a few months later so I forget the amount - $235?)<br><br>I looked around some more and found Celsos and they came to assess the problem for free, and then fixed it for a very reasonable flat rate.
