Nancy and I first started with 1:1 training for both of my large adult dogs who have very different personalities and motivations. I decided to go with board and train to address my biggest issue - leash reactivity. Both came back a million times better (with leash reactivity and also basic obedience) and Nancy equipped me with tools and advice to maintain and continue what they learned. Nancy also has been supportive since the dogs returned, responding via text, answering questions, and setting up follow up appointments. I am so glad to know that post board and train, I have Nancy to reach out to when I have questions. I’m soooooo glad I trusted my dogs with Nancy and I’d 100% do it again. Nancy has been amazingly helpful with our 1.5 year old high energy GR puppy! She started the obedience with residence training and has done several follow up sessions teaching him how to walk calmly on leash and learn impulse control. She has had so many helpful tips and really tailors her training to each dog’s unique personality. We still have a lot of work to do but I feel much more confident in my ability to train our dog. Nancy has completely changed our lives! She took our stubborn, possessive and protective dog (that FOUR other trainers had given up on) and has turned him into an obedient and happy pup. He spent two weeks with her and came back completely changed. And the training doesn’t stop there! Nancy is willing to give everything she has to helping you if you give the same in return. Training is for the pup and the parents. She has taught us to be cohesive and assertive which results in happier household. Not to mention the love our dog has for her! Can’t say enough good things about Bradley’s Canine Education. Our Boxer puppy, Skipper, was a nightmare. We couldn’t control him at all and he ruled the roost. Sweet dog, but a digging, counter surfing, destructive, obstinate, over-confident force of nature! We sent him for the 2 week residence training and he came back a changed dog! Nancy trained me to keep up the training with Skip, and our house is so much more peaceful now! He’s so good! He’s amazing on a leash, is way easier to settle when he gets amped up and we are now able to actually control the little Tasmanian devil! Can’t say enough good things about Bradley’s Canine Education! 12 years ago we sent our two dogs Oliver, a mini dachshund & Dylan, a boxer, to Nancy for training and they returned home well trained, behaved dogs. Admittedly, i shy away from commentary and reviews on business pages, its not a reflection of the business, more one on me, but after seeing a review on this page i felt the need to share my experience with Bradley's Canine Education. My girl Karma, a now 5.5 year old GSD that I rescued at 18 months old was a handful. She is intelligent, willful, stubborn and most importantly an amazing dog. After a couple of attempts with a wonderful, but too soft trainer and an extremely heavy handed trainer i found Bradley's Canine as a last resort, after finding her YouTube videos of her and her own dogs. Nancy treated my dog with the utmost respect, my dog has allergies, bringing my own treats and toys were perfectly fine. She had Karma in shape, and obediently responding in a couple of lessons, i admit it took longer with getting me to understand what i was doing incorrectly. Nancy over the years has been a wealth of knowledge as well as a constant partner when Karma, or usually i fall off of the routine and need redirecting. Never, has she been disrespectful to my dog, or treated her in a manner i would not accept, truly the opposite, she will set me straight before correcting Karma???? If you are looking to throw money at a problem dog, and not willing to look inside yourself and find your responsibility for your dogs issues, get a goldfish, do not blame Bradley's Canine Education. What inspired you to start your own business?
i started my business in 1996 because of a very bratty, difficult to handle chocolate labrador retreiver. I tried several trainers without satisfaction. I knew I could improve the service. I was living with a puppy I couldn't control. I knew I was not alone and lots of people must also need help.
