I wanted a white ceremony and a goth reception. Think like Christine Quinn inspired wedding, but without the swans and she delivered. The first moment we met Rowena with her black and purple hair, we clicked and knew she was the one we wanted to do our wedding. I told her I didn't want something traditional. And that's what I got. As a very fickle, uncommitting, distracted- by-every-new-thing-I-saw- bride who didn't know what she wanted, just what she didn't, Rowena and her team took that direction and ran with it. One thing that will help is if you don't like something tell her and tell her why. This review is a year overdue… I AM SO SORRY 😭 but I just want to say how thankful I am to Rowena and her amazing team for planning and designing our dream wedding! From start to finish, she has made our wedding planning easier than expected. Of course I was still stressed, but she helped me stay calm and cool instead of a bridezilla. We trusted Rowena with her opinions and suggestions and if we wanted to incorporate or change something, she was so flexible and adaptable. Would I recommend her to my family & friends?! Heck yeah!! 100%!! She surprised my husband and I with the design of the whole wedding. My favorite part was the reception. My wife and I are so glad we found Vintage Stuff & Things for our daughter's themed wedding. We were looking for a designer who could pull off the ultimate Alice in Wonderland themed wedding and VST really came through. From the one-of-a-kind individualized place settings to the props and even look-alike roaming characters interacting with the guests and posing for photos, they more than exceeded our expectations. VST handled everything including Save The Date cards with exquisite custom artwork, awesome customized centerpieces and table decorations, photo booth, creative and unique seating chart, etc. I would certainly use them again for my next big event, and would highly recommend VST to anyone looking for a truly unique and over the top experience. Rowena is simply the best! My daughter got married and Rowena provided everything we needed for our reception. She and her staff (Steve) came both the day before and day of the event to set up. We didn't have to do anything except provide the music, food and booze. Everything went very smoothly and clean up was a breeze and completed promptly following the reception. A quick shout out to Rowena/Steve for making our special day as perfect as they did and for giving our family memories we will cherish for our lifetime. What do you love most about your job?
Besides getting to play fairy godmother with a clipboard and turning Pinterest dreams into reality, I love being the architect of ‘wow’ moments! It’s like directing a blockbuster where love is the storyline, décor is the special effects, and the grand reveal is the plot twist that leaves everyone breathless. Watching a couple step into their dream setting—eyes wide, jaws dropped—is the ultimate reward. It’s part magic, part design, and making just a tiny bit of controlled chaos behind the scenes look like choreography!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After years in education and public service, I realized my real superpower was orchestrating meaningful moments; whether it was shaping young minds or forging unforgettable events. I determined that my true calling was still about creating impact—just with more flowers, fabric swatches, and a well-timed grand reveal! I’ve always been in the business of bringing people together, whether it was in a classroom, a community, or now, a perfectly styled venue. Trading lesson plans and outreach programs for tablescapes and timelines felt like a natural evolution—because at the heart of it all, I’m still crafting moments that matter.

As we discover we're a good match and we haven't already filled our limited client spots for your month, we'll put together a formal event proposal for your review. We'll meet up, brainstorm, and concur (hopefully) towards a signed contract with a retainer getting you locked in on our calendar.

Social gatherings, activities, and events are our lifeline, albeit the safety and wellness of everyone is our primary concern. Along with that, regulatory awareness, is first and foremost. On the road to being ultimately safe to hold social soirees and shindigs once more, we resolve to maintain a healthy and safe environment; our team is fully vaccinated.
Event Logistics Management
Handle the overall masterminding of your event before and after; from selecting and reserving venues, planning the scope of your event, including time, location, program, and cost; coordinating vendors to onsite organization, ensuring your event is executed according to plan. This includes creating and managing the detailed timeline and services on the day of your event as Day of Event Coordinator (Pls note: not offered as an A La Carte service). We primarily ensure all the logistics of the day play out as planned from start to finish!
Event Design and Styling
Create the overall look, feel, and style of your event. From backdrops to tablescapes, lights and colors, to textures and patterns. We ensure that every aesthetic component from your vision infused with inspiration boards (Pinterest) to table design mock-ups, and renderings for a full design are realized.
Décor Rentals
Provide the right essential piece(s) for your event to suit your theme. Place cards, cake stands, centerpieces, confetti, linens, favors…a lot of little details go into making your event one-of-a-kind. Whether it be an intimate affair or a black-tie extravaganza, décor is a definite must to set the tone!
Photography
Dynamite experiences can start to happen when we think outside the box for ways that we can integrate other parts of ourselves in showcasing someone's journey. We create a compelling story via event design and connect the dots, our photography then brilliantly welds and builds up unforgettable bespeckled moments uniquely yours.
