From the start I was skeptical with not responding to emails. Not sure what time he showed up but was still finishing setting up minutes before the start of the ceremony. Did not play songs on que during ceremony. Then once cocktail hour and dinner started I could not hear any of the songs because he wouldn’t play them loud enough. Once dancing started had to ask to turn music up 3 times and never did. Also waited until last 39 mins of dancing to play any of the almost 4 hours of songs we had provided him to play while dancing. We hired Randy for our wedding in October and he provided professional service from beginning to end. Randy has been a DJ for a long time and his knowledge and relaxed persona made him a joy to work with. He has a great song bank from his easy to use website and will also work with you to personalize a song list as well. His communication is excellent, clarifying any questions or concerns. Thanks for putting up with our last minute song changes too! When it came time to dance his mixes kept the party bumping till we almost fell over! We highly recommend his services, you won’t be disappointed. He has all the latest digital equipment from lapel mics for the officiant and bride and groom to the latest speaker and PA systems that will allow your guests a crystal clear sound! This is raving review of my super awesome DJ/small kine emcee for my Maui wedding in 2012. If you’re in need of a DJ, hire Randy Bermudez of Ace Beats, aka Skinny Guy. First and foremost, he’s experienced. He knows what he’s doing. This guy usto DJ for our middle/high school dances which was decades ago and I remembered him then. The entertainment value at any type of event is so important! Till this day, the best memory my guests have is how much fun they had dancing. Seriously the dance floor was jammed packed. Secondly, Randy is flexible with your song choices. Ultimately, you decide your playlist. If you have no idea where to start, he can provide recommendations. Lastly, Randy helped me stick to my reception timeline. Timing is also key during an event. There’s only so many songs and time dedicated to dancing with everything else you want to cram into a reception timeline. He did a fantastic job making announcements without being so intrusive or loud. Randy was very responsive leading up to our big day, setup was on time at our reception venue.
