No words are sufficient for us to describe our gratitude and appreciation to Shawn Tan for his help in our renovation project. He has been passionate to his craft, dedicated to the task, innovative and creative in his ideas and solutions to our problems and questions, responsible and customer-oriented to all our needs, always willing to offer his personal touch throughout the entire process. He never under-promised but always over-delivered. What we loved most was how he took the time to engage our kids to find out more about their lifestyle so that he was able to design their rooms entirely to their liking and meet their needs as growing teens, whilst making the design timeless so that it could be changed according to their likes in future. He made sure that every detail was perfect even after the renovation was largely complete. Being perfectionist in nature, he took the time to check every detail, tended to every minor defect, even ones that we didn’t spot and ensured that they were all rectified before the handover, even if this meant that he had to come down personally to get it done. We gave him a super tight timeline and budget, and even though he did not dare to promise to deliver within the given time (due to the pandemic), he managed to do it anyway. Although we only renovated certain parts of the house, Shawn Tan took the effort to ensure that his design flowed seamlessly with what was already there, and he went further to check if there were other areas that needed rectifications. Our family is deeply grateful to him for his dedication and his work. We absolutely love our hotel-lookalike toilets, and my children now refuse to leave their rooms because he has made it a haven for them! Thank you so much for everything! More...

What I love most about my job in interior design is the ability to transform spaces and bring clients' visions to life. Seeing the joy and satisfaction on a client's face when they see their newly designed space is incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy the creative process, from brainstorming ideas to selecting materials and finishes. Every project is unique, providing constant opportunities to learn, innovate, and push the boundaries of design.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting my own interior design business was inspired by a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces and a desire for greater creative freedom. I wanted the ability to directly impact clients' lives by transforming their environments in ways that truly resonate with their needs and tastes. Additionally, having my own business allows me to set my standards for quality and service, ensuring that every project is handled with the utmost care and professionalism. This journey has also been driven by the aspiration to build something meaningful and lasting, contributing positively to the industry and community.
