We got married in April and had the wonderful Jarod from Mason Media film our special day. We are beyond thrilled with the results!
We got the package that had 2 shooters, and we got a 10 minute best bits clip, the ceremony and we added on to get the speeches.
The day stared with us getting ready we had one person with the men and one with us ladies at the venue getting some behind the scenes moments. They were super professional and got some lovely footage of sweet, tender moments.
We then skip to the ceremony where they captured the moment of seeing eachother for the first time. The vows, reactions, tears and laughs were all caught and brought together with our song and words.
Then we had our bridal party photoshoot, leading into the reception and dancing. The team did the most amazing job of marring all aspects of our day.
Overall, we are so beyond amazed with these videos. We have watched them a million times now and they still brings tears to our eyes. It is our dream day captured so perfectly. We are so impressed with the service and the way these have been created. I personally, really love the way the cheeky and fun was captured and mixed in with the love and promises. The way it showcases our day and all the people who surround us. We are so impressed with the way the party meets the ceremony. I highly recommend using Mason Media for all your events.

Just wanted to pass on a massive thank you to Jarod from Mason Media for his creative skills and talent. We approached Jarod to help us capture some of Soul Ascension Beach Breathwork footage with the intent to promote and expand our online social media marketing and presence. We met up for an initial brief discussing what we were after and what mood, feel and story we wanted to convey to help promote our intimate work. He was really open to listening to our brief and what we were after for the footage and then we let him roll with it and work his magic from there. The environment of the beach, sunrise lighting conditions and working around 44 people can be really technically challenging but he nailed it for us. Within our session we dive deep and work really closely with our epic soul family. It gets pretry raw, emotional and vulnerable, but he was really respectful of the individuals privacy while also managing to get the close intimate and nurturing shots we were after, you creatively read my mind Jarod and we can't thank you enough for bringing our creative visual to the screen. You are a natural creative with an amazing heart for capturing the moment and focusing on the importance of communicating connection and emotion. What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to be creative! In my previous career I wasn't able to flex my creative muscle and this is what eventually lead me to move back to New Zealand and try my hand in videography. A career where I could be my own boss and have fun! This was the best decision I have ever made.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to work at Nitro Circus in California in logistics and travel. A truely amazing job and one that I loved for many years....however, eventually I knew that this wasn't a role that was suited to me and my passions and personality. I knew I needed to change my path. We had a media team of about 10-15 at Nitro Circus I always thought that it looked like such an amazing job. This drove me to pick up a camera and to start teaching myself the skills necessary to eventually leave and start my own thing.

Wedding Videography
Our goal is to capture your wedding in a way that exceeds your expectations.
It’s so important to realise that you literally ONLY GET ONE SHOT AT THIS! If you get uncle Bob’s best mate to come be your wedding videographer on his iPhone, or you go with a wedding videographer from a less than reputable company, you could be in for some nasty surprises when it comes to quality of the end product.
A lot of people think they only need a photographer at their wedding, and that’s actually a huge mistake. I’ve heard story after story of people regretting not having a wedding videographer there to capture it all on film.
