Joolz (Julie) is one of those fun, creative, artistic types. We had a zoom call and she was really relaxed, really herself. She clicked with my (then to-be) husband right away, as he's a muso as well. It felt right, so we signed up, sent her out ideal list of songs and said go for gold. She played for our walk-in song, during dinner (it was great to have some background music during dinner), our first dance then she got the party started. After our first dance, we had so many couples join in, it was one of the highlight moments of my night looking around at my loved ones dancing with their loved ones. Then the dance floor went off for a bit, before becoming a mixed bag of some people outside, some people sitting down, but I can tell you, there were people ALWAYS dancing! I had DJ Joolz for both my dads 50th birthday in July 2021 and then again for my wedding in March 2022 at Markovina Estate. From our first point of contact, Julie was super responsive, very helpful and was exactly what I was looking for in a DJ. She made sure I had a great night, kept everyone up on the dance floor and was super easy to get along with. For the wedding, I gave her the first few first dance songs to fad in/out at certain times and she did this perfectly. I’d highly recommend DJ Joolz and would totally hire her again. We had DJ Joolz for our wedding. What an awesome choice of DJ! We are so glad we asked Joolz and highly recommend her for your next gig. She crafted the playlist around our tastes and the RSVP requests from all our guests. The mix was eclectic, but everyone got up to dance including the 90 year old parents of the groom.
