What do you love most about your job?
I love working in the Security industry. It has so many different avenues that every day is never the same. Having staff that time and time again provide a quality level of service that clients always supply positive comments about.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working for other Security companies I always felt like a number when it was a big organization. You always felt like you were never appreciated and just left in the mix. Being a smallish company, every staff member I can name by name and they get my devoted attention when ever they need. Its almost like having a second family sometimes and its an awesome thing to be part of.
Why should our clients choose you?
Intercept being a smallish company means that you're never having to deal with a sales rep or the fact that no one picks up the phone when you need us the most. We are always contactable 24/7 and that is the one thing that does make a difference. We actually value our clients.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Physical services we are not able to put online. Services such as our CCTV & Alarm systems we are able to give access to clients either remotely via a PC or on their cellphones.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Staff are provided with masks and hand sanitizer. Staff are briefed on every job whether it be a one off event or a continuous deployment. We do a risk assessment and this is passed onto staff along with a deployment briefing to advise of any hazards and how they are to be mitigated as much as possible.
Security Guard
Intercept is able to provide licensed guards who are either uniformed or plain clothed depending on the job.
Mobile Patrol
Intercept has a fleet of vehicles that are GPS tracked and also have in car cameras to make sure guards are doing what they are supposed to be doing. We use an intelligent state of the art patrol system which uses NFC (Near Field Communication) tags strategically placed around a client site that the patrol staff must scan. Each NFC scan is validated by a GPS ping so that Intercept Management can 100% guarantee that the patrolman has been in attendance to site.
CCTV & Alarms
Intercept has its own tech division which allows us to not only install permanent alarm and CCTV hardware but also temporary projects as well. So its permanent or temporary we can get the job done for you.
Fire Equipment
Intercept has a fire and protection division which has the ability to allow clients to buy Fire Extinguishers or Fire Blankets or we are able to service and or replace them as necessary.
This also includes the ability to conduct BWOF and monthly checks on fire systems.
Temporary Fencing
Intercept supplies a multitude of products including temporary fencing for those home renovation projects right through to fencing of large scale construction sites and sub-divisions.
Portaloo
Intercept hires Portaloo's to a multitude of different clients. Whether it be a day event or a long term project we are able to do it all. Serviced weekly so you avoid those nasty smells and if you need a secondary service during the week all you have to do is pick up the phone and call us.
Drug & Alcohol Testing
Intercept has two technicians available to do onsite drug & alcohol testing if your site requires it. Whether it be randomly done weekly, fortnightly or monthly we can work within your schedule.
Alarm Monitoring & Response
Intercept works closely with our monitoring center in Pukekohe. With the ability to monitor our client alarms we are able to save on those pesky false callout costs.
Where other monitoring companies just simply despatch guards because they are not the ones paying the bill at the end of the day. From the responses we have been given from current clients all they can say is that we have saved some of them hundreds of dollars, and this is especially significant because COVID has hit some of them really bad. We work closely with our clients to ensure they get the best value for money everytime.
