Perhaps you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or a lack of confidence and self-esteem. Maybe you are experiencing grief or loss or feeling stressed with life but would like to improve your quality of life.

We tend to worry about the issues we face and experience stress as we feel stuck and confused not knowing what to do next. Often the trauma we faced yesterday continues to have a negative impact on us today and we feel hopeless and powerless. We can think so low of ourselves at times as we beat ourselves up with defeated self-talk and we struggle to really know who we are and be content within ourselves.

I understand that life can be very difficult at times as I’ve experienced my share of trauma, loss, and grief among many other life challenges. I have also worked many years alongside families or whānau who have experienced grief and loss alongside trauma, particularly through sexual and family violence.

We can see the difficult situations we face as obstacles or opportunities for growth and self-betterment. Change takes effort as we can’t expect a different result from doing the same thing. I commend you for being here today as you seek healing from the hurts you’ve experienced and explore positive change in your own life.

I am a counsellor who aims to heal the brokenhearted by equipping, empowering, and encouraging all those that I work with to be the best version of themselves. To help those I work with to not just survive, but overcome with confidence life’s barriers, so the pain of the past or current situation they are experiencing will not keep them bound up from attaining their preferred future.

Decisions today are our lived experiences tomorrow. I will walk alongside you equipping you with tools, resources, and techniques to help you become empowered and confident within yourself to better manage life's challenges now and in the future.

Counselling is a non-judgemental safe space where we can connect and together establish some goals to walk towards step by step at your pace and in a way that suits you best. The therapies I use to do this may include but are not limited to:
• Person-Centred
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
• Interactive Drawing Therapy
• Faith-Based Counselling

Cost:

Individual Adult Sessions are 50 - 60 minutes in length at a cost of $130.00 per session. Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) subsidy is available to you if you meet their criteria. Please discuss this with me if you are interested in applying for this.
