Working together in a small group helps accountability and builds supportive relationships. Working together towards similar goals can help keep clients on track when they are in the gym and when they aren't.
Each client has more time with the coach since class numbers are limited and the coach is able to make adjustments to each exercise to make sure the client is moving safely and at the right intensity for their current ability.
We have a group page that has educational info and healthy recipes added to it often to help clients stay on track and learn new habits.

Working hard but also being kind to yourself.
If you haven't got the body you desire then something isn't working for you. Taking some time to find out what that is specifically for you is important.
What works for someone else will probably not work for you. We each have a different hormone balance, stress levels, work lifestyles, home lifestyles, families, and sleep patterns, not to mention our eating habits. Using a coach to help you identify what changes you need to make to get you headed towards the body of your dreams is essential. Its not always about eating less and exercising more, infact usually its about sleeping more and adding more nutrient dense food to your diet. Its about spending more time with your loved ones and creating strong meaningful relationships because we know this helps decrease our stress levels and improve our hormone balance. It's about taking some time to put your health first so you can support your family and loved ones.
Even coaches need coaches.

My journey centres around transforming peoples lives, teaching them how to love, heal and rebuild their body by taking control of their lifestyles through movement and nutrition. It's so cliché but I love seeing people achieve things they never thought they could, its so rewarding and I couldn't think of anything I'd rather do with my time. I hope I've inspired you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new! You're worth it.

After moving back to NZ, I worked for another gym and after changing jobs to teach, I had multiple enquiries about continuing to coach, so I started a small home business and its growing into the community and beyond.

I've been in the industry for a long long time, I've had results with a lot of clients who change their whole lifestyle and relationships because they have increased their self esteem and have confidence in their ability to achieve hard things. I've helped many people learn to deal with anxiety and stress through exercise and nutrition. I have worked with clients who have had many different injuries.
But the main reason someone should choose BoomTownPT as their place of training is because we are a team. We train together. We share our time, support, stresses, anxieties and our wins together. We listen to each other and we learn together. We are a positive group of women, all who have started a journey at different stages but encourage each other along. Life is meant to be done together, and its always that little bit easier to know you're not the only one sweating it out!

Yes, this would be discussed with the client.
The client would need to have back ground knowledge and ability for online PT work, and some basic equipment.

Our class numbers have dropped to keep members a safe distance apart.
Equipment is cleaned between every use.
Hand sanitiser and soap is available.

Services

I run small group classes for women so clients have more one on one time with the coach to learn safe and effective movements.
It is also important to us that clients are able to build meaningful relationships with like-minded people in a positive, encouraging and supportive environment.
Classes are set up to target strength and muscle maintenance; this is very important to help keep bone density high and hormone levels balanced for women of all ages. We also target cardiovascular, cardio respiratory fitness, power and endurance, these fitness components help keep the metabolism burning and the stress levels down, also helping balance the hormone levels.

We work hard together, from beginner through to advanced. Each exercise is adjustable so its suitable for the clients current fitness level and ability taking into account any past or current injuries.

Trudy has been coaching for over 16 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor as well as a small group coach.

Currently we are not taking on personal training clients, only those wishing to attend the small group classes of 6 maximum. Please only request a call back or message if you are serious about your fitness and getting results.
