When I first tried Bark to look for an accountant who could help me with my requirements I got a few calls from some consultants, but it felt like they were quite uninterested in providing the services I required.
However when I got a call from Kalyan I was quite pleasantly surprised. He took the time to explain the legalities of specific requirements, and went even further to explain the various aspects of structuring accounts for my professional requirements.
Through my GST registration process Kalyan was always on top of things following up with me on the specifics of the application, explaining the nitty gritties. He was also extremely helpful when I hit a bit of snag through the application process.

What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We are a firm of Chartered Accountants and specialists in working with small and medium businesses - popularly referred to as SMB or MSME.
To start with we help with registering the business and where called upon, advice on the different business formats. This could be a proprietorship or partnership. It could be once registered with MCA (Ministry of Company affairs) be it an Limited Liability company or LLP, One person company or OPC or Private Limited Company. It could also be a non-profit or NGO format like a Trust or Section 8 company
Next, we do all other registration as is mandatory or considered advantageous like GST, MSME, Import Export Code (IEC), FSSAI, Shops & Establishments, Professional Tax (PT), PF, ESI. There are others as well like trademark, start-up india scheme, DIPP etc. We also provide digital signatures
We next create your basic accounting structure depending on your nature of business and industry and whether you want to use internal resources only at one end of the service spectrum to complete outsourcing at the other or something between the two
Our GST services extend to e-invoicing, filing of monthly / quarterly / annual returns, composition dealers, GST cancellation & cancellation revocation, temporary registrations, LUT filing export & refunds, handling departmental scrutiny and audit and guidance on record keeping and compliance generally

What inspired you to start your own business?
This venture was started with the idea of providing high skill support to new businesses either starting up or looking to scale up quickly. They had to approach multiple agencies for support and often could not afford the high skill because they did not require full-time resources

We can and are indeed a ONLINE/REMOTE FIRST firm. We work on a set of tools which are cloud based and offer clients a number of different choices to run their business. Our team is also distributed, and we have very minimal on-site delivery client. We prefer virtual to physical meetings. When we do meet physically it is to celebrate than talk shop!!!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have moved from a physical to virtual mode of delivery of all our services. When we do meet we follow all the standard protocols from social distancing to masks to sanitisation
