Gorgeous hotel and great location. Smack bang in the centre. Great staff. We originally had planned to stay 1 night but ended up extending our stay as our room was so fabulous. Love this hotel! Been coming here every month for the last four or more years for a one night break to chill out! Only live half an hour away but love it! Pool and spa treatments are great! Meals are lovely and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Located in the centre of Kilkenny therefore you can just walk out to all the places of interest and the shops. Car parking is opposite in the Ormonde street car park! Perfect! More...

This is a beautiful hotel with many amenities. If you are looking for a full Irish breakfast, nice rooms, large lounge for afternoon tea, excellent restaurant and bar, and more, this is the place in Kilkenny. Things to be aware of: no air conditioning (this is common; I dont know of any accommodations in town that offer it). Request a room away from the street if you are sound sensitive. People talk at the top of their voices just outside of the hotel entrance until 2-3 am, and the sound echoes in the entranceway. More...
