I recently purchased a 4 bedroom house that needed renovating and decided to source an interior designer to help me initiate the process of choosing colours and upstyling the rooms. I chose Kate Holohan as my interior designer following reading her reviews online and knew that Kate would meet my needs. I have to say that I am thoroughly delighted with the outcome . Kate is extremely knowlegeable and professional and really listens to her clients . Her warm disposition and friendly personality made working with her all the more enjoyable . She helped me choose the perfect colours to suit my taste and the character of the house . Kate undedstood that I was on a budget and gave me other advice for upskilling other items of furniture for example she suggested I paint the wardrope doors and change the handles. I have learned alot from Kate and hope to get her for ongoing future projects. I would highly recommend Kate whether it is for a small scale project for example 1 room, or a larger scale project for example a whole house . We got Kate to come and restyle our home , it was the best decision we made. Kate choose paints , carpets, furniture, pictures, and other items to make our home a beautiful space to live in. There wasn't one thing that we didn't like. Kate would always make sure we were happy before She went ahead with anything. It was a pleasure dealing with Kate and so easy to contact her anytime. When I first contacted Kate to ask for help with designing a bedroom I didn’t really know what I wanted other than that I wanted to incorporate grey in the colour scheme. She listened carefully as I talked about what I needed. I found it really helpful to get ideas when she shared photos of her extensive portfolio of work. She had such a wide range of fabrics to show me that I felt like a child in a sweet shop! Kate was so patient while she supported me to choose colours, fabrics and textures. I love the end result - especially the curtains supplied by Kate using my choice of fabric. They were beautifully made (see photo attached!). Everyone admires them. I contacted Kate for her expertise when I decided to revamp my living room and kitchen. She was so attentive to the job, patient and always on hand to answer my queries by text or phone. She was willing to take my opinions on board and come to a solution together. I was thrilled with both jobs on completion and wouldn't hesitate to contact her again.
