Did corporate classes with Colin for months and couldn’t recommend him enough. Always professional in his dealings and as an instructor a great guy. Fun classes with varying exercises to suit all levels. Constantly changing to keep things interesting the class went from strength to strength and did wonders for work morale. Joining DT Fitness has probably been one of the best decisions I've ever taken in my life, and this is not an understatement, it has changed my life completely. I am 36 and for the past 35 years never touched a gym, I've been underweight, with very low levels of energy, had a massive lack of strength and stamina and I wasn't very happy with the fact that my 6 year old was getting bored of daddy getting tired playing in the park after 5 or 10 minutes... I joined DT a year ago and my life has turned around 180 degrees. Adam and Colin have constantly encouragement , great and knowledgeable advice and enormous amount of patience, all with a positive attitude; things that made me very comfortable in a utterly unknown environment to me. I've gained a lot of self confidence, I am stronger now than I was on my twenties and thanks to this two fantastic professionals I have developed a love for working out and better myself everyday in every session. The environment at DT Fitness is another one of the main reasons I love the place so much, a like minded group of people that truly welcomes you with open arms and a smile no matter the level of fitness you have, a fantastic group of people that encourage you every single day with a very positive attitude even in the hardest workouts, most of them I can proudly call my friends.. I can't recommend this place enough, whatever you are playing sports and you want to get stronger and faster or you are a very inactive person, like I was, and you want to change your life around, This is actually the right place for you. Fantastic gym with great atmosphere!I really love the class based approach. The class structure frequently changes so you never get bored of repeating the same stuff again and again. Adam and Colin are great instructors, each week they are tweaking your stance and position to make sure you're doing everything correctly and getting the most benefit from the exercises. It's the fittest and strongest I've ever been and wouldn't have done it without this place.Highly recommended! More...

I joined the gym around two months ago and I have to say that it's the best gym I've come across in terms of atmosphere, results and training style. I've done yearly stints in various gyms over the past few years and until now I have always found it hard to constantly motivate myself. At DT, it's done for you. Gone are the days of trying to put together your routine and worrying about trying to motivate yourself for leg day. These lads are the most knowledgeable I've come across. If it's sports specific training or indeed just increasing your strength and getting in shape, look no further. I've completed a basic course in gym instructor and PT myself but I've learned more in two months here than a year on the course. Time is given to demonstrate every movement on every occasion ensuring you never jeopardise your form and posture for achieving a heavy lift too early. The emphasis is given to start where you are right now encompassing perfect form and then to improve over 6 weeks where the considerable gains can be seen. I couldn't recommend the place more! Spent 5 years out of GAA not being able to get my knee right after ACL surgery. I had become overweight with no physical strength or aerobic capability to speak of. Decided to give this a try after my club team had a pre season session with Colin. The end results within two months were fantastic. I slimmed down a stone, put on muscle and increased my aerobic conditioning massively. Most importantly I was able to play my first gaa game in five years without any fear of injury and without sustaining an injury. That is all down to both Adam and Colin. I have since done a number of endurance walks and treks in the last 6 months as part of a travelling trip and the endurance and leg strengthening work the lads prescribed me have stood to me...... even 6 months later. Couldn't recommend this more to anyone who either wants to lose weight, increase their strength, increase their conditioning or is just feeling bored or tired after a hard workday. Fantastic environment with constant supervision and motivating coaches. Equipment is state of the art and the weekly programs are organised and highly varied to keep people on their toes. Needless to say on returning home, I will be calling back in for my weekly sessions. Cheers lads More...

I can't say enough about this gym. Been going for nearly a year now and the biggest changes aren't in my appearance but in every other aspect of my life. My focus has improved ten fold, my confidence is climbing every day and as a result my career has opened in up with so many new opportunities. Really have to hand it to Colin and Adam for creating a fun, friendly yet professional environment. Joining will be a decision you definetly won't regret and one you wished you had made months ago! I started with Adam and Colin in DT Fitness about 6 months ago. After doing a couple of free sessions to get an idea of what the training involves, I was hooked. The attention to detail, enthusiasm, and professionalism that the guys show every day creates an unbeatable environment to train in. When training the big lifts (squats, deadlifts, overhead press) good form is absolutely crucial. So many people start these exercise with bad form, load on too much weight, and end up injuring themselves. Adam and Colin make absolutely sure that you are perfecting the form for an exercise before going up in weight. This allows the best progress possible and gives you the assurance that you are doing an exercise correctly and getting the maximum benefit. The conditioning aspect of the workouts has been fantastic for my overall fitness. I have been exercising on my own for years but had an issue with consistency. With DT Fitness no two workouts are the same. Every 6 weeks you have entirely new workouts and this keeps things fresh and keeps your progress going as your body is constantly adapting to new stimulus. I am stronger, leaner, and more motivated to train than I have ever been. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thanks lads, keep up the good work! More...

Really enjoying my time at DT Fitness so far. The lads are extremely knowledgeable and motivating. I come away from every session having learned something new and the lads are pushing me physically in the best way possible.

This gym has really changed things for me.Both owners are sport scientists. Having them advising me on all aspects of my training makes me comfortable in the knowledge that I am going about things in the best way possible. I genuinely learn at least one new thing every session I go to, thus I'm constantly improving my standards.This gym enabled me to return from an injury a month earlier than was expected, as per my doctor and physiotherapists advise. This speaks volumes of the work these guys do.In addition to the above, the owners have created a great atmosphere and environment up there. It is very similar to training with team sports eg soccer. This is quite unique in comparison to other gyms I have been to.I actually look forward to going to DTF, which says a lot as I've have never said that about any other gym.I would highly recommend this place. Really enjoy going to DTF. Adam and Colin (the instructors) are very knowledgeable and place emphasis on knowing the basics before trying anything complex. It's obvious that the lads have a background in Sports Science as they really stress doing exercises the right way and with correct form instead of lifting heavy but with wrong form.The approach of the gym is great. I really like the fact that they do an individual assessment of your strengths and weaknesses when you join; they were able to tell me which areas I need to strengthen on and extra exercises that I can do myself in my spare time. I'd recommend this gym to anyone from a beginner to a regular gym-goer. More...

Great Gym and better Instructors! Gave this place a go last month to try something different to the typical leisure center gym where i was getting no results. The instructor set me up with nutritional advice and bespoke workouts tailored to my goals. One month has passed and I am delighted with the results, feel much healthier and my lower back pain has virtually disappeared. I definitely wont be going back to anymore Globo gyms! More...

Great gymThe guys there really know their stuff. It is different to other gyms I have been a member of as you get more of a Personnel Trainer experience than just going to a normal gym. I got great advice on nutrition and was shown stretching techniques that have enabled me to recover faster from an injury while also allowing me to focus on fitness and strength all at the same time.Highly recommend the place More...

Started a week ago. From the first minute, even though it was a class it felt like a personal session. Colin and Adam both give advice and encouragement with out making you feel like you know nothing. They also stayed after answering queries about nutrition, diet and general queries in a manner that was both helpful and also easy to under stand. I look forward to more gruelling sessions. More...
