We offer dog training for dogs young and old. We also have a doggy daycare business operating Monday to Friday in Kildare as well as boarding for one to two dogs at a time. We have a home environment, no kennels. dogs stay with us in our home each day and enjoy our huge garden play area.

I can’t recommend Vanessa highly enough. I contacted her when my dog developed a behavioural issue and was at my wits end! ! She came out to train Asha in our own environment, and was always punctual. She showed me the strategies I needed to use to improve the behaviour. However, she didn’t just take over with the training- she showed me how to train her myself, which was so important to me. I noticed a change from week 1. My dog Scooby stayed with Vanessa for four nights recently and had the time of his life. I could see how much fun he was having in the photos and videos that Vanessa sent and he even managed to sleep on the bed. Well, Vanessa is not only an amazing dog trainer and minder but also a lovely warm, kind person. She has a genuine passion for what she does and our dog Buddy loves spending time boarding at her countyside cottage. I had never left my dogs with anyone but family so I took my time in choosing the right place. Vanessa's experience, professionalism and love of furbabies shone through and immediately put my mind at ease. Daily updates and photos were sent. My two were completely chilled on our return so I could tell that they'd had a blast. I would 100% recommend Donadea Doggy Day Care. Vanessa is brilliant. We just had Sox staying with her for 21 days and she sent us regular updates and loads of lovely pics and videos of him having fun with other dogs especially Oisin, Brady, Buddy and many others. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing he was being well looked after. He slept in her house with his pals. Vanessa only takes 3 dogs at a time for overnight stays so a nice small number. Can't speak highly enough of the care given to Lily and Bailey when we were on vacation for 8 days. Vanessa took care of my 2 furbabies for 8 nights. She did everything to make them feel like they were at home including setting herself a bed up in the kitchen the night of the thunder to help ease Lilys stress as Bailey had himself well sorted under the duvet with Michael . my westie Lily has lung disease and is on several medications, 2 of which are inhalers so it was very important for me to have trust in the person minding her to ensure she gets her meds when needed. Vanessa has been training our lab/staffie X Bear and she has done an amazing job with him. Before his training we couldn't leave him alone with the kids as he would knock them over and they just didn't enjoy him like they do now. We have been lucky enough to have our Siberian Husky puppy in training with the amazing Vanessa of Donadea Doggy Daycare and just wow! Not only is she an expert, and so professional, but she makes the whole experience so easy. She’s so patient, honest, helpful and encouraging. Her techniques are effective and easy to replicate for all family members, and it’s amazing the difference each session and the correct follow up at home makes. What do you love most about your job?
Getting to work with dogs and cats is my passion. There is nothing more satisfying than helping owners to train their dogs or understand their cats for a happier and easier life for both furry friends and their human.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My loves of all animals and wanting to work with them on a day to day basis.
Why should our clients choose you?
I train dogs with positive reward techniques only which means dogs enjoy their training sessions, No dog is untrainable and will never physically or mentally be scolded or punished during my sessions. It's all about learning, understanding and guiding through fun, affection and kindness. My techniques are easy for owners to follow through with when I am not there.
