Our wedding was located at Belleek Castle in Ballina, Co. Mayo. What a pleasure it was to work with DJ Tommy Elliot for our Wedding. We currently reside in the USA and did all of our planning from across the pond. From the moment we reached out to Tommy, he was so super responsive, friendly and helpful. We instantly got on a phone call and he helped run through the structure of an Irish wedding and what his piece looked like. We had a very culturally diverse guest list and we wanted to include some Portuguese music for the bride's family and Tommy had no issues and concerns doing so, and he did a great job incorporating it. He was very open to any ideas and even provided recommendations. Just from speaking with him on the phone and seeing some of his wedding videos online, we had no doubt that he would keep the party going for the night, and he did indeed. Tommy played at our wedding on the 17th of May 2019 in Breaffy House Resort and he was excellent. He had the dance floor filled from the beginning to the end of the night. The transition from band to Dj was seamless. And the video he pit together for us was such a lovely surprise and great to see everyone enjoying themselves. The two most important aspects of a wedding are the bride and groom - and the DJ. Any lackluster party you've ever attended is usually because the music didn't get the crowd jamming. However, rest assured if you hire DJ Tommy Elliott, you are guaranteed to have a happy crowd that's ready to party through the night! The logistics of a destination wedding can be frustrating and poses coordination issues with some vendors. Not with Tommy though. From the moment we connected with him, he was prompt, responsive, professional, and easy to work with. We told him the type of music we wanted to hear and gave a few must haves. Tommy delivered perfectly. On the day of the wedding, Tommy arrived early and was instantly ready to get the party started. He was energetic and quick to respond to guests requests; especially requests that were obscure songs that are specific to where we're from. Our only regret was that we didn't book him longer! I knew we we wanted to book Tommy for our wedding after seeing him playing at my sister's wedding. He is absolutely brilliant and knows exactly what music to suit the audience! He played such a variety of genres and the dancefloor was buzzing all night! Communication from the very start up until even after the Wedding was excellen and he is a gent! He provides a super service and an added extra that tops it off. He takes photos while the band are playing. It was so lovely to see photos soon after the Wedding.
