Had Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago and we were delighted with the food and service and attention to detail. Such a lovely place, it feels decadent but the value for lunch was superb, and like the way you have choices of 2 courses or 3. Couldn't fault it apart from one minor miniscule grumble in that my Mother was a little disappointed that she could not have apple sauce with her pork belly as apparently there wasn't any? She survived without it however!
Had a lovely time at Jimmys farm today, was out first visit and only brief one but will definitely be coming back again. Such a lovely place to spend time just relaxing with the children or without come to think of it
. Bought some sausages as they looked amazing but not tried them yet.
The Gloucester old spot pig had her 6 day old piglets out for the first time they were so cute and there was s member of staff supervising them who gave us s lot of interesting information about the pigs. Loved the meerkats too and will be back again for another visit in the near future, might even do the music festival in July
Decent size range with friendly staff.
9 hole course is good fun. Though it's been changed recently to make way for a croquet lawn and isn't as good as it once was.
Could do with a few more bells and whistles to make it a little more modern but overall it's a good view hours out.
