We specialise in making bespoke wedding and celebration cakes that are not only perfect to look at but taste delicious too. All of our cakes are baked fresh to order using only the finest ingredients. Always striving to improve our skills and learn new techniques, so far we have trained with Slattery, Zoe Clark of Zoe Clark Cakes, , Lynne Burns of Medici Macarons, Isabelle Bambridge of The Designer Cake Company, Tracy James of Cotton & Crumbs, Dominique Pickering of Poppy Pickering and Emily Hankins of Emily Hankins Cakes. We are fully insured and food hygiene level 2 qualified. As a guide, our wedding cake start from £400. Every wedding is so different and I love being part of a couples special day. The wedding cake is such an important aspect of the day, symbolising good fortune and happiness . Everybody at a wedding wants to see the cake, so it is important it both looks and tastes amazing. I really enjoy being creative, taking lots of ideas and inspiration and putting them into your bespoke cake design.
I used to be a primary school teacher but when I had my children I decided I wanted to change career. I have now been designing and making cakes for over 5 years and couldn't imagine doing anything else!
I recently won Best Wedding Cake Designer in the North West 2018 at The Wedding Industry Awards.
Every cake I make is baked from scratch. I use free range eggs, supreme sponge flour and Nielsen Massey vanilla. Wedding cakes are filled with luxurious Swiss meringue buttercream and coated in Belgian chocolate ganache underneath Massa Ticino fondant. I only use the best in my cakes!
