Jason was recommended to us via another photographer we’d approached to photograph our wedding but who wasn’t available. We took a look at his site and liked what we saw and his pricing is very reasonable (in fact it’s cheap compared to what many wedding photographers asked). We didn’t want tonnes of staged photos. We wanted a few group shots - mainly for the family album - then we just wanted someone who could capture our day as it unfolded, and someone who’d capture the moments we weren’t going to see. It’s a big leap of faith when selecting a wedding photographer and you never really know how photos are going to turn out until you see them. Thankfully, our leap was well rewarded as Jason sent us (in the timeframe agreed) around 500 photos that captured so many moments from our wedding day. Looking through them brought back the happy memories. He also sent us all the other photos he took that he thought weren’t as good (think odd faces, eyes shut etc.) on a pen drive for us to look through in case we wanted some of those anyway. Jason’s unassuming demeanour means he just blended in to the wedding day, wandering around, taking photos of whatever caught his eye and we barely noticed him, other than when we were posing for particular shots. We’d have no hesitation recommending him.

Mellz created a personal mood board ahead of the shoot that suited the girly, fun personality of our daughter. She captured amazing family moments of all three of us. As it was Christmas time we also got Christmas photos of our daughters first christmas which turned out beautiful. What I loved most about our session was how great Mellz was with our baby she got so many smiles out of here. After the session we were able to come back for a viewing of all our photos, choose the 3 we got included with the package then choose any extras we wanted to get physical copies of. We got all digital copies of the pictures we chose then got a beautiful 3 book folio and then mounted physical pictures. Mellz was so professional, easy to communicate with, has great photography skills and provided an overall amazing service. I would highly recommend her to everyone with children. Hannah is a really kind, easy-going and very professional wedding photographer and my experience of having her to take our wedding photos was extraordinary! We met up about half a year before the wedding and discussed all the details regarding the wedding photos and arrangement. She has been very helpful in directing us to plan the timing of the wedding day and keep the timing (e.g. group photos, bride and groom photos etc.).
