We loved the wind section who came our around the room which out guests were not expecting so their reactions were priceless! In fact with the band and DJ being so brilliant i even sacrificed getting BBQ food that i spent years choosing ????????????because I didn't want to miss a second!

With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Harriet combines her musical talent with absolute professionalism and a ‘can do’ attitude. Harriet’s harp has taken her to diverse locations and star studded events including a performance in front of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II as part of the celebrations for her Diamond Jubilee, an appearance at the BRIT Awards and a live duet on TV with Dermot O'Leary for Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother. A versatile performer, not only has she has dressed up as an angel to appear at London’s Fabric Night Club and recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, but she has also performed on BBC 1's Songs of Praise, played live on ITV's Good Morning Britain, and filmed for the ITV drama series Harlots and for Channel 5’s The Hotel Inspector. For several years she performed regular recitals on cruise ships including Cunard’s legendary QE2, and also Fred Olsen and P & O cruises. Harriet has played in all the major London Hotels including Claridges, The Ritz, the Savoy, and the Dorchester. Harriet is a founding member of the internationally recognized ensemble 4 Girls 4 Harps, whose music has been broadcast on Classic FM, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4, as well as across the world as far as Australia and the USA. Alongside her career as a professional harpist, Harriet is also a composer whose compositions and arrangements have been broadcast on Classic FM and BBC Radio 3 in the UK, and for radio stations across the world. Her arrangements of Christmas Carols for harp quartet were described by BBC Music Magazine as ‘sparklingly energetic’. Harriet performs mainly on her two full-size concert harps: a natural wood finish Salvi Diana and a stunning golden Salvi Electra. She can also provide a smaller Clarsach harp (useful when space is at a premium), and for a more contemporary feel, even a pearlescent white electric harp! Harriet concentrates most of her bookings in London and the Home Counties area, but will also consider events further afield depending on the date and location.
I love being able to perform fantastic music that makes people happy. I really enjoy it when clients tell me their musical choices as it means I get to know them better and can then tailor the rest of the music to suit them better.
Playing the harp makes me happy - it is a beautiful instrument both to look at and listen to. Iget to listen to the sound everytime I play which is a privilege.
My job takes me to meet new people virtually every time I go to work - I love the variety that this brings.
I always wanted to play the harp since I was a small child, so there was never any question about whether or not I would do it as a profession.
First and foremost, I am a top level harpist. If someone books me they will get fantastic music played to a really high standard. I am professional and enthusiastic about what I do and pride myself on providing a first class service for every booking. Having been in the business for over 15 years I also have a huge set list to choose from and am always adding new pieces to it.
I have a choice of harps to choose from - two full-size pedal harps (one natural wood and one golden), a smaller celtic harp, and a modern electric harp.
