We have 3 stunning, function rooms available for private hire at The Dome which is a beautiful, Edwardian building with amazing views over the beach & out to sea. Our Main Lounge is a beautiful, decorative room on the 1st Floor with an outdoor terrace looking out over the beach, pier & sea - capacity is for up to 190 at a standing event (135 seated). If numbers are less than 85 (standing) or 60 (seated), there is also our beautiful Whispering Gallery & Atrium Bar which is the actual Dome at the top of the building - it is a stunning, mezzanine room with amazing views out to sea. We also have the Vintage Tea Rooms on the Ground Floor which is a lovely, quirky space, suitable for intimate parties (evenings only) of up to 45 people standing or 35 seated. You can see pictures of the rooms on our website & also on our Facebook page. At our Google+ Page, you can do a full online tour of the building & see our beautiful rooms & outdoor terrace laid out for a function. We are also happy to offer personal viewings of the rooms, by appointment. Our Vintage Tea Rooms on the ground floor is open daily to the public (10-5). We offer a full catering service. We have pre set buffet menus starting from £5 per head, sit down meal options and ability to tailor the food offering to your requirements. We have input to our own sound system that you are free to use or organise your own live music. Disco light in the function room are free to use or you can use the main dimmer lights depending on your preference. We do not have a hire charge on the room but will require a refundable £200 deposit as long as the overall spend covers this and no damage occurs. As well as your own private function room, you and your guests will have access to the main public bar. It's a 30th birthday party for myself, my brother and my sister (as we are triplets). I'm looking for a venue that would cater to family and friends, so would like music to be provided via a DJ or live Band, otherwise offer a good sound system but can play our own music via a smart phone or tablet with a wire or Bluetooth connection. Would like a nice outdoor area with seating and coverage (against the weather) and a comfortable smoking area. A bar with a range of drinks ideally including cocktails. Can arrange my own catering but happy to consider catering offers/ if part of a package. As this is a really special event for us, I'm interested in suggestion or ideas that may be on offer at certain events and happy for event organisers to contact me and discus ideas, deals etc. Thank you
