Kimberlin Counselling

Kimberlin Counselling

I have been a qualified counsellor for 8 years, a member of the BACP since 2009, and a registered member since 2016. My role as a counsellor is to work in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment. The session allow my clients to explore issues, and by offering a high standard of therapeutic care and support, help them to find solutions and take responsibility for their own decisions. Humanistic Person-Centred counselling allows my clients to explore their life experiences rather than on one are, this then allows them to identify their own strengths and working with this allows them to to obtain and achieve the desired goal. This is my main approach to counselling, however my qualification was joint with Humanistic and psychodynamic, and given the right environment and without time constraints, i do and will use psychodynamic methods. Although I work in a GP practice, I work mainly private practice, and for a local charity. I work a lot with young adults who are on the autistic spectrum with a variety of needs who are taking the next steps on their educational ladder. This is usually done in their own environment to begin with, enabling them to start to feel comfortable with the outdoor environment.

One to one Counselling for adults or young people. I have 10 years counselling and therapeutic experience, having provided one to one therapy to over 1000 people. -My specialism is counselling, which is a one to one space where we can look at the issues your faced with and unpick what is going on, so that you can move towards change and increased well-being and confidence. - I offer family / couple work to people who are trying to find which way to go. I can provide a space to feel your way through the changes and transitions in a kind and non judegrmental way -I also offer a more solution focused therapeutic space, this is for those who know what they want to work on and where they want to go. This would be a combination of counselling and coaching, where I hold the space to hear your story as well as support you in achieving your goals, whatever they may be. -For deeper healing on past traumas and childhood experiences I have an array of tools to support you. I know that we can carry our history around with us, which guides our life choices and our internal chatter. Sometimes you just feel enough is enough and want to let go of the past. I can support you with this. I recommend my services by Skype sessions, as these are offered at a reduced amount of 50%. I feel this ensures that the help can get to those who need it most, for as long as you need, without finances being a barrier. Face to face sessions are also available in the Birmingham area, B23.

Mengage Therapy

Mengage Therapy

Mengage offer a one-to-one ‘talking’ therapy aimed at helping men to know themselves and how to function better, to improve their relationships and generally be better blokes. This is all kicked off with a free consultation to see whether we are compatible – both client and therapist – in a setting of your choosing; pub, café, walking the dog, whatever suits you. There is no pressure and the ‘therapy’ goes at the pace you dictate. This is not about fixing you but helping you to understand why things happen for you the way they do – and whether you can do something about it. Our therapist has over 15 years’ experience of therapy himself and has amassed a great deal of experience along the way. His work with Mengage has immersed him in men’s health issues. He is approachable and non-judgmental and just wants fellas to talk about their ‘stuff’ and start to unburden themselves. So, if this sounds like something you could/should/want to do, give Liam a call or drop him an email. No commitment by just getting in touch – but it could be your first step to helping yourself.

Louise Lalley Counselling

Louise Lalley Counselling

There are so many reasons why we might feel distressed but professional counselling gives you the space to think and talk about yourself and your life, or anything that may be causing confusion or stress. Counselling gives you the opportunity to talk with someone who listens and then supports you in identifying solutions and overcoming the problems you have raised. Working with a professional counsellor also provides an opportunity for transformation and a chance to improve your mental health. Taking the first step towards this transformation can be daunting, but my approach will be compassionate, friendly and supportive. As a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) I will work with you ethically and confidentially. I offer cognitive behavioural therapy, creative therapy and person centred therapy in Walsall, Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield, and surrounding areas of the West Midlands. The areas of counselling I deal with are: bereavement anger management career feeling sad attachment disorder separation and divorce generalised anxiety disorder low self-esteem anxiety depression relationship problems behaviour problems family issues emotional abuse low self-confidence panic disorder bullying loneliness grief and loss paranoia separation anxiety stress work-related stress

I have been on a mindfulness course with Health in Mind but I feel like I need face to face support in tackling my irrational thoughts and managing them.
