Sandrine Berho-Lavigne

Bonjour. Originally from France, I have worked in North Wales for over twenty years as a secondary school teacher, head of modern foreign languages and mentor for trainee teachers. Having gained vast knowledge and experience in supporting teenagers and young adults, I qualified as NLP life coach and holistic counsellor, specialised in the management of crisis, trauma and PTSD. My life coaching, holistic counselling and French tuition business has now been running for four years. Whether you come to me in order to improve your French (mainly GCSE and Alevel), overcome some difficulties (PTSD, anxiety, stress, illness, bereavement, conflicts, relationships, divorce, abuse, low self-esteem etc.), achieve a specific goal (weight loss, healthy habits, time management, etc.), personal or school/uni/work-related, you can be sure that you will receive a professional service in a relaxed, empathetic and non-judgemental atmosphere. I will always work at your own pace and use a variety of approaches tailored to your individual needs. I can accompany you on your spiritual journey and lean on your faith to help you move forward but I will equally respect your wish not to mention this aspect at all. If money is an issue in the current context, please do not hesitate to mention it as you might be entitled to reduced fees which, before discount if applicable, stand at £50 an hour for coaching, £40 for holistic counselling and £30 for tuition. The sessions are currently held remotely by phone, via WhatsApp, Facetime, Skype or Zoom. Being self-employed, my working hours are flexible. I will always attempt to work around the times that suit you best and respond to you as soon as possible. Languages spoken: Français - English - Cymraeg I will happily provide evidence of my qualifications. Please note that when you ask for a quote or send a request from this page, Bark charge me between £5 and £11 to answer, whether you hire me or not. As I receive numerous enquiries, and sadly not all are genuine, to make sure yours gets answered, I strongly recommend that you contact me directly, using the details provided on my profile but from a new page, outside of Bark. Merci.

What do you love most about your job?

I love to watch people find resources they didn't know they had, overcome their difficulties and the smile on their face when they have achieved their goal(s). I love that we work as a team, learning about and from each other. I love that together we create a better present and pave the way for a brighter future.

What inspired you to start your own business?

In one word, freedom! Freedom to work in a way that suits the individual needs and resources of each person who turns to me for help. Freedom to share my time between the people I love both in France and the UK. Freedom to do what I enjoy most. Freedom to be myself.

Why should our clients choose you?

All my GCSE and Alevel students have taken pleasure in achieving one if not two grades above those predicted by their teachers, securing places in their preferred university, including Durham and Oxford.
The majority of my coaching clients have come to me after having had help from another professional, with no or unsatisfactory results. They find that, from the first session, the holistic and solution-focused approach makes a considerable difference. In some cases, one session has been enough to set the wheels of change in motion.
In those times when they needed to discuss a small issue or be reassured, all have found it helpful to be able to book mini sessions, more often than not at very short notice.
