‘21 Certificate of Excellence

Due to the large volume of interest on Bark, I am unable to respond to everyone. If you would like to receive further information regarding my support, please email me directly and I will get back to you within 1-2 working days. I am a cognitive behavioural specialist and I help clients overcome the barriers that may be stopping them from healing, growing and evolving into their ideal future selves.  I am a trauma informed specialist in areas surrounding low self-esteem, lack of confidence, stress, anxiety, depression, loss of direction, difficulty in communicating, emotional regulation, and overcoming limiting belief systems. I am immensely passionate about what I do, and offer an informal style of support. This encourages my clients to feel in control of their own journey with ease and flexibility. I focus on financially accessible support and offer a range of options to suit all needs and budgets. Winner of the Bark Certificate of Excellence Award 2020; and 2021.

What do you love most about your job?

I truly believe in the power of CBT and I stand shoulder to shoulder with clients through their journey. My informal approach to this effective form of talking therapy has helped change the lives of clients and I am so proud to have been there with them to watch them evolve and heal. Adopting this informal approach rather than a more traditional form of therapy helps clients find joy in the process of recovery, and encourages long-term healing.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I decided to open my own practice after years of working for various organisations, there were a number of reasons for this rather scary, bold career move. Most importantly, I have always been completely dedicated to the people I work with, my clients. I found that when I was working for organisations and institutions, there were times when I was unable to help my clients progress with the momentum they were able to, due to factors out of my control. Opening my own practice limited that drastically. This innovative approach empowers my client and that in itself accelerates progression.

Why should our clients choose you?

The relationship you have with your therapist is one of the most important factors when deciding who you would trust to help guide and support you through your recovery. My practice is not suitable for everyone. I work off the basis that I will help people looking for mental health support find their perfect fit, whether that is with me, or exploring other opportunities. You must feel safe with the person you are working with, first and foremost. This is why I offer a no obligation free consultation call to access your needs before anything more formal is booked.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

My services can be in person if you are local to Brighton. However, the majority of my clients are virtual. My virtual sessions are on zoom. I also have an app where I provide a huge variety of amazing services available with instant 24/7 access. Please see 'Services' for more details.
