What do you love most about your job?

I enjoy helping people and seeing the progress that they make in terms of symptom relief, improved relationships, motivation and general wellbeing.
I have worked in a number of different fields before training to be a counsellor and I am able to bring this invaluable life and work experience to help me better understand my client's difficulties.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I wanted to branch out and work online and face to face in private practice, as there is a particular need for therapy sessions that fit around peoples lifestyles - joining Bark has enabled me to get in touch with a wider range of people looking for therapy.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am experienced with a range of difficulties - I have helped people overcome depression, anxiety and panic attacks, relationship difficulties as well as addictions. Because of my extensive experience in schools, I am familiar with a range of neurodiverse conditions such as autism and ADHD, so I am well placed to provide therapy, leading to self acceptance and a more fulfilling life. I work with access to the latest research and clinical backing, you can be assured of the highest standards of counselling and psychotherapy if you choose me.
I am happy to negotiate fees for online counselling.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can provide online therapy via Google Meets/Zoom, or on the telephone. Sessions last for 50 minutes; the best outcomes when you decide to have therapy are when sessions are weekly, at the same day and time each week. The number of sessions will depend on how you feel - I offer both short term and long term therapy.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

If you decide to meet face to face, I work in a Covid secure environment, in purpose built therapy rooms in Enfield Town, close to two mainline stations and a number of bus routes. Seating is more than two metres apart and there is ample hand sanitiser available. Clients arrive no more than five minutes before their session so that the number of people in the building is limited. You can decide if you would like to wear a face covering.
