Innermost Counselling

Providing Individual & Couples Counselling. I am an Integrative Relational Counsellor offering Online and In-Person counselling. By considering counselling therapy, you have taken a vital first step towards perhaps a life changing journey. Email or call me for a complementary introductory session to discuss your needs, my work and how I may support you. Life happens, at times not in a good way and we wear a public face concealing our true feelings, hiding that very personal struggle. At times, that struggle is all too obvious and the behaviour worryingly real, but no one quite understands. I can offer the necessary personal space to express those deep inner feelings without being judged, doubted or talked over. I help to untangle the troubling problems, often forcing clients to hide the innermost true self. This can lead to better relationships with others and ourselves, and a healthier, more authentic way of being. These problems may feel unmanageable on your own. I aim to offer a safe trusting, empathic, non-judgemental and respectful counselling relationship.

What do you love most about your job?

Therepeautic Counselling, the power of talk is not to be underestimated.
All of us at some point in our lives, and it’s really a question of when not if, will experience emotional struggles as this is part of being very human.
At times, this may be due to the present circumstances.
At other times, it may be caused by events from the past and often a remote distant past.
I enjoy the transformative change which clients often experience in achieving a desired emotional shift and life changing outcomes, all through the power of the trusting counselling relationship and a safe, nonjudgemental, confidential space which I strive to offer.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My own private practice allows me the freedom to offer my own blend of integrative relational therapy which places the needs of the client front and centre.

Why should our clients choose you?

I hold a Foundation Degree in Counselling and professional membership of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am therefore bound by the BACP Ethical Framework which is deeply attuned to my own value system of integrity, justice, fairness and compassion which I endeavour to offer both within the counselling room and personal life.
At the core of my practice is the counselling relationship, a powerful force for change.
I work collaboratively with you through this relationship; we explore together the challenges you may be confronted with.
Emotionally present with you throughout our work, we discover ways to address the past and present, allowing the emotional shift you may be seeking.
