Fitcamp Fitcamp is a great way to get fit, stay fit, meet new friends and have fun. Fitcamp is circuit training based on the High Intensity Interval training approach (HIIT). This is the most effective way to improve your all round fitness in one workout. A series of exercises will challenge your Cardio Vascular fitness, your muscular fitness, core strength and motor skills. If you are already well conditioned and want to add variety and intensity to your training, then Fitcamp is an ideal choice for you. Fitcamp will enable you to challenge yourself to work harder, and improve your fitness faster. If you want to lose weight, the HIIT approach will engage all 3 of your body's energy systems, so you burn more calories and continue to burn fat after the session as your body makes adaptations to the exercise. Fitcamp is a mixed ability exercise class, suitable for adults of all ages and abilities. Swedish, deep tissue, sports and Indian Head massage techniques are used to provide a massage tailored to suit your needs. Massage is an excellent therapy for soothing muscular aches and pains, areas of tension and releasing contracted muscle fibres. Alternatively, you may wish to use massage to help you de-stress, de-tox or to simply relax and rejuvenate. No matter what treatment you have, you will experience a feeling of wellbeing. Self Defence We deliver structured self defence programmes or alternatively, our instructor is available for private tuition for individuals or small groups. All of our teaching is based on real practical experience. Everything is simple to learn and easy to "use and remember". The focus is always on developing your inter personal skills so you can avoid conflict. We do not teach martial arts, or anything too complex. Our instructor, with 20 years experience in the front line with HM Prisons and the Royal Military Police says- " martial arts have their place as a competitive sport, however they require a level of expertise that takes months or years to aquire if they are ever to be of use in a real situation. This is not realistic for the vast majority of people. When you are in danger, you have to act fast - you don't have time to think about a complicated martial arts move.
