Embleton Psychotherapy

Embleton Psychotherapy

Embleton Psychotherapy is a private practice set up by BACP registered psychotherapist Tamsin Embleton (as seen in Metro). She currently works for the NHS and in private practice based 5 mins from Angel tube station in Islington, London. I offer a free initial consultation, after which sessions are £65. People seek therapy for myriad reasons – often they feel lost, ‘stuck’, or wish to change, understand or better cope with an aspect of their lives. It is a creative collaboration in a confidential, safe, non-judgemental space. In therapy we explore the client’s position towards their current issues within the context of their past relationships and experiences. We identify patterns as they arise and examine unconscious assumptions, reactions and motivations. Together, we piece together the puzzle of what is troubling the client, so that old wounds can heal and the client is supported in moving forward in a more satisfying and meaningful way. Some of the issues my clients face include: - trauma and neglect - physical, sexual and mental abuse - identity, meaning and purpose - attachment, relationship and interpersonal issues - depression, anxiety and stress - grief, loss and bereavement - addiction - phobias - gender - sexuality - anger and emotional difficulties, including personality disorders

Reiki Healing

Reiki Healing

Reiki-Healing offers Holistic Therapies to treat the "whole" person. In our modern stressful life not only does our body suffer 0n a level physically, but on three other levels: emotionally, mentally and spiritually, all at the same time. When our immune system is lowered the whole body reacts to the pressure presented to it. Holistic Therapies help to restore balance and bring about a feeling of completeness and alignment of all four levels . Holistic healing has two goals: 1 To balance each level; & 2 To balance all levels with each other. Once all levels are in balance "Wholeness" is achieved. Therapies available: Reiki Healing ,Reiki Drum Healing, Reiki & Crystal Healing, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, Meditation.

Marybeth Haas

My work is about encouraging and facilitating others to learn about themselves and why they do what they do the way they do it; helping others become more aware of their choices in every moment in how they respond to life and other people; facilitating others to become aware of our connection with Source and Nature, inherent in our bodies; empowering others to choose to live fully in the Present instead of being lost in thinking and worrying about past or future. Many things can get in the way of our feeling able to be present and fulfill our true potential. Self beliefs and assumptions about life can be mostly unconscious (we don't know we have them but they inform every choice we make), having been learned from our early experiences in our family, culture and environment. If these beliefs and assumptions remain unconscious they rule our lives without our knowing it and we may wonder why we repeat negative patterns or why it feels difficult to feel content and peaceful inside ourselves. By having a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space with a qualified Psychotherapist to explore your experience through talking and/or image making, you can process any past pain and trauma so you are more free to live in the present and you can discover any limiting self beliefs based on things in the past so you can have more freedom to choose how you respond to life as it is NOW. I offer Integrative Arts Psychotherapy (IAP). which is a psychotherapeutic approach which actively encourages the client's imagination alongside talking to facilitate change and self understanding. Each client will require a unique approach to his or her problems and reasons for coming to therapy. I am led by what the client brings as well as my own theoretical interests; the beauty of an integrative approach is that I can continually assess and deepen my awareness of the many ways of understanding humanness in a fluid way which keeps the client at the center of the therapeutic process. Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I make art, using a variety of media, which reflects, explores and expresses my love and passion for the Natural world and for encouraging healthy relationship with Nature and other beings.
