I

iTutor

Hi! My name is Ife, and I am currently a law student. I received 5 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9 and an A*AB at A level. With over 2 years tutoring experience and 24 5* reviews from students on various tutoring platforms such as MyTutor, every session I give is tailored to the individual needs of each learner. I personalise the sessions to the needs of the students, whether it's reviewing subject, looking over exam papers, or practising exam technique. I try to make my classes as interactive as possible by using the whiteboard to keep my students engaged and I approach tutoring with enthusiasm, offering prompts/encouragement as needed and always providing feedback at the end of the class.

What do you love most about your job?

Tutoring has been one of the most fulfilling professions I've ever had; the satisfaction received from helping a student excel on an exam or simply understand a topic they didn't understand is unrivalled. I am grateful to the students I have tutored for being so kind and ready to learn, which has fuelled my desire for teaching even more.

What inspired you to start your own business?

As I proceeded through school, I found that many of the revision methods I tried were time-consuming and dull, and hence did not suit me. I started tutoring in order to show students the successful yet simple strategies that enabled me to achieve the grades I got, as increase their confidence in subjects they may struggle in.

Why should our clients choose you?

My teaching style is to create a comfortable, engaging and interactive learning environment. I like to employ a variety of teaching and revision approaches that are appropriate for KS2, GCSE and A-level students and then choose the way that best meets their needs and ability.
My main goals are to ensure my students enjoy the session and feel relaxed, allowing them to attain their best potential and make significant progress. I am happy to assist with either the topic or the writing itself, and there are no silly questions!
