We don't value the company on its net worth, we value customer satisfaction, client progress and professional development. I am looking to help as many people as I can, improve as much as they can. We have clients of varied age ranges and skill levels that include special populations. Each new client brings a different challenge. I have learned that no single client is the same as another, highlighting the need to make individual assessments that help us produce personalised plans with specific goals in mind. We relish the challenge of helping a variety of different people with vastly different goals get to where they want to be, to be a truly effective coach, versatility is key to success. -Trainer Background- My exercise background has come from years of playing sport, mostly from experience playing professional and semi-professional Ice Hockey. While training to improve my own sports performance, I found a love for the strength and conditioning side of sport. I decided that I wanted to make a career out of helping other people better themselves. After qualifying as a Personal Trainer in 2014, I have been gaining valuable training experience and learning as much as I can. I am currently studying to gain my bachelor’s degree in Sports Science (Human Performance) and my special interests include areas specific to injury rehabilitation, nutrition (in relation to weight management) and performance training. -Bodysmart Benefits- Low Prices - We understand employing a Personal Trainer is an investment. By keeping prices low, we ensure that investment goes further. Our clients can train more so we can spend more time coaching and perfecting our craft. Free Consultations - Choosing a trainer you feel comfortable with is key to ensuring you get productive sessions. We offer anyone the opportunity to meet us and ask any questions they may have in relation to which route we feel is best for the individual. Free Nutrition Advice - Nutrition is key when it comes to maximising training effectiveness, especially when it comes to people with weight loss in mind. We offer free 30 minute bookings to sit down and talk nutrition with any Bodysmart client. Free Training Programs - We recommend our clients train with us as much as they can, but if that’s not an option, every session we plan is saved and can be sent to our clients that wish to repeat those workouts in their own time.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Bodysmart provides the support and guidance so you can take control of your fitness and lifestyle. We promote positive habits for long term change, get fit quick fixes don't often work in the long run. We want permanent progress with our clients gaining knowledge of how to take care of themselves throughout life, not just our sessions.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

I am learning more and more that patience is a virtue. Its great to jump head first into lifestyle change, however this must be done in a sensible manner to prevent relapses or injuries. Knowledge on people management and knowing when to rest is equally as important as knowing when to push. There is no such thing as the perfect body, but to get close to it takes time and effort.

What do you love most about your job?

The most satisfying part of my job is helping someone through teaching rather then training. Everyone in society has a posture defect or a technique that can be improved. When I explain a technique cue to a client of mine to help their posture or form and they say "wow, I can really feel that" and they can understand method behind it, that gives me great pleasure because I know they will take that into everything they do.

What inspired you to start your own business?

All I want to do is spread my knowledge and expertise to help as many people as I can, while learning as much as I can to become the best coach possible. I felt the best way to do that was take full control of my situation. Having my own business allows me to network and advertise as I please, as well as train clients with versatility and as much of my own personality and one can tolerate.
