‘21 Certificate of Excellence

I am an experienced and friendly Personal Trainer with nearly 25 years experience helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. I work from the Marlow Club (in Marlow funny enough) but non-member clients can enter the club free of charge if they are seeing me. This means you get the benefit of all the equipment and variety a club has to offer for no extra cost. My History I have helped clients lose three stone in body weight, helped clients reverse diabetes type II with lifestyle adaptions, helped clients put on a stone of muscle and look amazing for their big day, helped clients train for the ParaOlympics and helped lots of clients rehab from replacement joints to serious back injuries to recovery from serious accidents. If you are interested in finding out how I may be able to help you, have a look at my website (www.daybint.com) and pop me a message in order to arrange an informal chat. It's free and there's no hard sell. I look forwards to chatting to you :)

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

There are two types of client:
The first is someone with a specific goal - With these types of clients we start by understanding their deadline and then work backwards today. I can then design a program that ensures we peak at the right time for your goal to be complete.
The second is someone who just wants to train as part of a healthy life - With these types of clients we take a slower approach ensuring they can do the basics before progressing to harder exercises. We ensure training is challenging yet fun and we work together to mould a program around not only your body's specific needs and ability, but also around what you genuinely enjoy doing.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Understanding your mind and therefore your habits.
If you understand what makes you tick you will understand how to get the most out of your training and your nutrition.
Having spend more than 2 decades working one on one with clients, I really believe this is the formula to success.

What do you love most about your job?

Helping people achieve their goals.
Sometimes these goals are physical, (weight loss, rehab, building a more defined physique), sometimes they are about understanding themselves more.
The most rewarding client is the one that has tried to achieve the same goal many times without success and we crack their broken habits and finally get them to where they want to be.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Erm...I didn't like working for companies where I didn't agree on their philosophy or the way they handled their customers.
I love me job and want to be in full control of my customer service so being self-employed was the obvious way to go....wow, I sound like a terrible employee lol.

Why should our clients choose you?

They should look at my website and if they feel we would work well together they should get in contact.
To get the best from your PT, you need to want to work with them. So, without side stepping the question, a client should only choose me if they feel we may be a good fit.
If they don't, there will be another PT they feel more affinity to and they should go with them :)

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Coaching can definitely be done online and I do do that.
Personal Training is best in person as the way someone moves dictates what stretches/mobility/exercises are most appropriate.
During the lockdown, all my sessions are outdoor sessions. Once gyms open again, I'll get a roof back over my head and stop getting rained on.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We train outdoors and I keep my distance.
All equipment is cleaned before a session and immediately afterwards.
I provide hand sanitiser at the end of the session so the client can't spread any germs in their car.
