My main goal at the start of the process was to lose body fat and feel more comfortable in my clothes again but I also wanted to feel confident in the gym and start to enjoy exercise again.
I used to be very active and exercise didn’t feel like a chore for me but I got out of a routine and started to dread the thought of going to the gym or going for a run. This resulted in me gaining weight, feeling lethargic and feeling pretty rubbish about myself and how I look. I knew I wanted to make a change but I didn’t know where to start. I found myself setting goals and plans for how I was going to get back in shape but there is so much contradicting advice online that I would stick to it for a few days and then second guess whether the effort I was putting in was actually going to pay off and I would therefore end up quitting and falling back into past habits.
I chose Dilan as a coach as I needed to take the guesswork out of losing weight. Dilan was very quick to respond when I first enquired and this remained true throughout the whole programme. On our initial call I liked that he focused on making this a lifestyle change not only with exercise but with food, sleep and overall well being and not just an extreme diet that can’t be maintained.
Dilans approach was perfect for me. He explained the process, had a plan in place and made it clear that I was going to be made accountable for reaching my goals and he was there to support and guide me. Accountability was a huge part that made this experience achievable as I knew that skipping a gym session or not reaching my step target would be noticed by Dilan and he would question it. Throughout the 16 weeks Dilan has been excellent at answering any questions I have accurately and promptly. Dilan has also been great at keeping me motivated at points where I felt deflated and despondent. We talked through how I was feeling and Dilan adjusted my programme to suit it and pushed me to keep going.
It sounds trivial but I can now walk into the gym and confidently finish a workout without feeling intimidated and out of place- I actually now look forward to going to the gym, which is something I thought I would never say. I have surpassed my expectations about how much weight I can lift and really enjoy pushing myself to see how much further I can go.
My partner has seen the biggest difference in me, I am less tired, much happier, more confident and he has been really impressed at the dedication that I have shown to the programme (because previous attempts have only lasted a week). My friends and family have all commented that I have lost weight and look healthy and happy.
Overall, training with Dilan has had an enormous impact on my life as a whole and I have achieved all of the goals I had hoped to. I now have the tools and the motivation to continue a happy healthy lifestyle and I couldn’t have done it without Dilans help. Thank you so much!

AMAZING!! Danny is very encouraging and supportive. He has helped me a LOT in getting my mind in the right place to loose weight as well as training me hard. He is not your normal personal trainer, he didn't give me a strict diet to follow (as I didn't want to commit to that) and instead just advised me on changes and spurred me on.
