After being let down by Maria from Roasted lemon I contacted Maddy from Ceylon and from the on set they were so helpful and patient . I spoke to Harsh the chef to put together a oriental menu for my daughters 30th dinner - food was amazing we had gayoza / papaya salad / the best mock chicken I’ve ever tried / fried rice / chicken katsu all finished off with sticky toffee pudding. A truely lovely Italian Cafe in the centre of Bristol. Very relaxed modern vibe, run by Ramesh, who will do anything to make the customer happy! His food is exceptional and very good value. I had the seafood risotto and it’s actually the best risotto I have ever eaten, I didn’t want it to end! And such generous portion sizes (not too much either). Also very good at catering for vegetarian and gluten free etc. Most things on the menu can be substituted, as I am gluten free but still felt there was plenty of choice. Really worth a visit…and they do takeaway!
Cooking It! Is a cookery school based in Redland. We offer chef services and supper clubs in our kitchen/dinner. So that the mess is in our kitchen and you do not have to worry about anything, other than eating our lovely food. Our speciality is Spanish food and Tapas. But we cook all sorts of things. What a superb choice I made in selecting Jack’s Kitchen to cater for my daughter’s wedding celebration. Di was chatty, warm and lovely, and totally understood the laid back feel of our event. Her team were friendly and efficient and all three were quick and professional.
The food was amazing, everybody said how fabulous it was and I haven’t the time for all the comments, there were so many. The beef shin was melting, the curry delicious and the banoffee pie was so, so good.
