How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

At The Healthy Body Happy Mind Project we believe following a healthy diet and lifestyle is crucial to help build up your immunity against disease and give you loads of energy to lead an active happy lifestyle. Eating a well balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables is proven to ward off disease and lift your mood and helps you to think with more clarity to avoid brain fog. Drinking filtered water is important to maintain optimum hydration levels and keep your hormone levels balanced. Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients and avoiding artificial food additives and varying what you eat is really helpful too. We offer support from nutrition consultations and healthy living programmes to cooking master classes to inspire you to create your healthier, happier lifestyle for you and your family.

What do you love most about your job?

I love helping people achieve their varied health goals ranging from recovering from cancer, auto immune conditions and long term medical conditions, losing weight for good, getting pregnant or preparing to run a marathon or climb Mount Everest. Everybody has different personal targets in sight but all revolve around creating a healthier, happier lifestyle which is sustainable long term. Making small gradual changes to your diet and activity levels can have a massive impact on your life for the better. So why not start making those changes today!

What inspired you to start your own business?

In 2012 I was diagnosed with late stage cancer. Luckily I was able to make a full recovery with sheer determination incorporating a really healthy diet packed full of nutrients, regular gentle daily exercise and super positive mindset. I'm really blessed to be alive and appreciate every moment of every day! I studied for my Masters degree in nutrition and other nutrition qualifications so I can help other people on their journey to better health. I'm really passionate about great nutrition and helping people make better lifestyle choices and run fun cooking master classes so you can learn how to cook quick and easy healthy meals and learn how to make your own fermented foods and homemade sourdough bread and pizzas and homemade probiotic cheeses.
